does anyone know what kats reaction has been to this season? i'm hoping her eyes open to how awful her and her "rock" have been treating people. it's a really bad way to conduct business and i also wonder if it has affected the shop yet.

Good question! I for one am sorely disappointed in the clique-ish, "password only", velvet rope attitudes I watched every week.

I sat there with my jaw dropped as Corey pontificated about how Paulie was never going to get a fair chance simply for the petty reason that he didn't like who introduced him to the shop. ???
If that were my real reason, I'd make up some sort of sublimation so people wouldn't think I was that unfair and shallow. I used to think he was cool beyond words but now think he behaved like some highschool girl. No, I didn't even act like that in H.S.

And what's with this Dan guy? Ditch him and get Paulie in there. Heck, get rid of Corey too and bring Amy back. Let's not forget there's the show, then there's the shop. Do we need Dan and Corey for the show? Doubtful.

They all decided they were going to hate Aubrey (Aubry?) no matter what. I saw her do things that weren't as bad as they blew them up to be.

I sincerely hope the powers that be are setting up a new show starring Paulie and Amy. God knows their new boss is hilarious.

Maybe when Kim joined in the skewering of Pixie last year it was a preview for this one.

Kat's not a big fan of the internet so I doubt she'll ever see anything posted here.
According to her own website she's only posted once in all the years it's been up and running.

She's a business person expanding her businesses and building her brand. Somebody should be monitoring what the buzz is..

Kat's website is the polar opposite of this forum. It's filled with "fair and balanced" observations about tattoo-based subjects like her awesome talent, her exotic beauty, and her choice of eye shadow. Kat obviously IS a fan of the internet because SHE must be the one writing all of the complimentary postings.

Her name is Katherine so therefore she spells her nickname Kat with a K. It doesn't have anything to do with a cat.

It was a joke, and in my opinion her name is Kat POOP this season. (Is that okay Mod-Ivy?)

Kat used to blog her opinion on myspace during the first few Aubrey eps, but lately its all about the "makeup and perfume" (stuck up voice right there). I'm sure she knows how we feel.

Judging by the post on YouTube I'd say every idiot on the planet has bought Kat's line of makeup.
Maybe soon she can afford to buy a real castle in Europe and move far far away...

What is up with Kat? She comes across being this spiritual,loving, forgiving person when actually she is evil. In Canada if she were here would actually be in alot of trouble with the labour board. Aubrey would even have a good human rights case in Canada. I don't know how Kat can lay her head at night and think she is this great humanitery when I would be afraid of what Karma has in store for her. Grow up Kat,Dan and Corey. U should all be ashamed of yourselfs and ur behaviour.

It doesn't seem like any of them are enjoying themselves that is why many leave not just because they don't accept outsiders. I will say I liked Kat better with dark hair. I think things are way to tense most of the time there which effects everyone.

Kat needs to record a Public Service Announcement that apologizes to LA Ink viewers for her bad behavior this season...it could be the "amends" she needs for her recovery.

That entirely depends on where she's sleeping that night. Apparently that list alone fills half her journals. The ones she can remember anyways...

The negative replys about LA-INK can go home. You can't be from around the shop or LA County because locals flow with the pressure and chill. Those alien to SoCal can spew they hearts content becasue you don't walk the walk nor talk the talk as they do each show for real. Kat is an Artist and sharing her craft with the world. She has fought her way to the top with the American dream and you slay her youthful and not so mechanical handling of her shop personnel. Let them shuffle their lifes and move on. The jealous get enraged and cough up angst,envy and fear since they have not worn her shoes for not even one minute! Judge not lest ye be judged. Its only TV. What goes around comes around - - - - LA-INK Rocks...!

First of all, I think most of everyone responding to these threads ARE already at home.

Second of all, what does it matter if one is not from Kat's area? It's really not rocket science to know a mess when you see it, whether you're two blocks down from the shop in LA, or sitting on your porch swing in the rural cornfields of Indiana.

Third of all, who the h3ll is jealous, and what fathomable reason would they have to be jealous of a pompous, shallow, childish person? We don't envy her, we feel sorry for her. When you allow yourself to be filmed on national TV, you open yourself up for ALL KINDS of judgment. That's her problem. No one is discrediting her artistic talent, just her moral character. I strongly suggest you get some new heroes. Peace out, Ninja!

I actually AM from LA, and I have always found Kat's attitude and behavior to be the worst of LA stereotypes. It always made me sad and angry that that is the image of LA that get's on TV. Like Beverly Hills 90210, the O.C. Melrose Place, etc. It's embarrassing to see your home state portrayed like that!

I think Kat forgets how she was treated when she was on Miami Ink! She's treating Aubry and the others (that she looks down her nose at) just like the guys treated her in Miami. She forgets how awful they made her feel, like she was never good enough. She needs a reality check, and needs to really look at how she is treating people. So sad to watch.

She's by no means the best tattoo artist in L.A.
Her own show makes her a laughing stock.
She's not even a producer on the show just a cast member.
So the top of that dream is perhaps successfully changing her hair color?

the points are well taken. She is not the best nor is a CEO. The anyperson with a dream used to be lifted if sincere and not jerks. They are all trying to climb the success ladder. Saints we not. The TV has opened our eyes to blind justice. Thanks.

This is not what i want to be known/remembered for! All the great work that has come out of that shop will be forgotten if it doesn't turn around next year!!If there is a next year!
