So did anyone else catch the inacurate reference to the "L7" vertebrae in last weeks episode? It was a good laugh considering no such vertebrae exists.

Actually, there is such a thing. It's an abbreviated expression for saying the lumbar vertebrae and it's location in the spine. L= lumber, 7= seventh vertebrae down in the lumbar section of the spine.

Yes I am aware there are only 5 in the Lumbar, but often people count the sacral as part of the lumbar on accident.

And for odd peoples, such as myself, can have an extra lumbar vertebrae.

Many years ago, my chiropractor was totally excited about this peculiarity as he had read about it, but never had seen it.

But this tends to be the exception rather than the rule.
