Hi. I hate to start a topic just for a question, but I've been wondering this for days: When does the video player get updatded with new MM videos?

Shakey, I asked this and Mod_Ivy replied on the main board with

"Discovery will offer full-length episodes online ... The feature will offer... day-after episodes."

To me, that means that episodes will be uploaded the day after they air on tv, although I'd be much happier if they were simulcast and/or they were more specific about times (midnight Saturday? 8:30 PM? What time zone?)

I think maybe the reason we got to watch episode 1 early was because it was some kind of promotion. I doubt that we will see anymore episodes online before they air on AP.

well it looks like ep 2 was posted quickly after the tv airing; i hope that practice continues just in case i'm not able to get to a tv with animal planet again one of these friday evenings.

I'm glad AP is waiting to put the episodes online after we see them on TV. I was so hoping they would do it that way. One of the reasons is when the episode is aired of Flower dieing, I wanted everyone to see it together. It will be a hard episode to watch and I am sure many tears will flow. We will need each other support to get throught it.

i haven't seen season 4 so it is very sad i need confort.

I bought the dvd and watched the entire season in one afternoon. It was so worth it. Anyone know what's up with season five

mitchfan, I'm sure they will rerun season 4 eventually. They have shown the other three several times in a row now. All the seasons, and the movie are out on DvD now as well. There's a lot to see, with three groups being followed and even the Lazuli making a brief cameo appearance, after being gone for a whole season.

There is still no official word on Season 5. We were hoping for a decision soon after season 4 aired in Europe, but so far there has been nothing. A lot has been happening in the manor for the past year (as described on the spoiler board and FKMP website) and recent events may interfere with filming, especially at some groups. We will have to wait and see.

Out of curiosity, I checked the Player for Update-not much on the menu at all in terms of full episodes- and not really my cup of tea.

Glad I've got the whole series on dvd-even the Best of___ dvd. You know, when I purchased the 1st one, I actually thought it came with sommentary-something-I was a little- disappointed? But I bought those also- want the collection in entirety. Nice having a separate dvd player built into my laptop-can watch a full episode..and not tie up tv if it's in use.

Last I hear on Season 4 reruns- they will run in US when airing is complete in UK (by now, right) and in European countries.

The last time I saw a rerun of season 4 was October 2008-after original airing, the series reran twice in a row- and then stopped. Then had to wait for the dvd to come out. I had just really "gotten hooked" on MM Season 4, and it was gone. It's a shame.

Currently, my area EST is on round 4 of seasons 1-3, 3:00 and 3:30. At least it's on.

I'd love to have Season 5- looked forward to it for so long- don't want to get my hopes up any more-so much has happened, and still is.

Did anyone else notice that at the end of Season 4, the narrator did not say "Next season on Meerkat Manor..." Obviously, due to the tragedies of season 3, that. ended on a different note.

I do not like to repeat myself, but I wish Animal Planet would show something= delceted scenes, never before "seens"-
Throw us something- or make the announcement.
