zaphod is still alive as of the end of august. who knows, he is old but i'm pulling for him to maybe latch on to a dominant male role in another group for a while. at the same time, i was kinda thinking after the last episode...... "why wasn't zaphod the one going down the hole after the snake instead of flower?" but then i know nothing about meerkats other than what the show has taught me and what i have learned on the kalahari meerkat project website. i will say this though, there are alot of dominant male positions open throughout the study area at this time.
