Well, now I;m just trying to load it up. I have a dial-up connection, but I've managed to download videos before.

I'm glad I have DSL. just watched it. glad to see some NEW MM.

I didn't like the concept.
It ruins the anticipation, the excitement, and the joy of all of us sharing M.M. together.
By the way, how will this "computer concept" affect the television ratings of Meerkat Manor?

I kind of like the idea of it being portable if you have a laptop and you can view it when you want vs having to be at home in front of the TV.

But I can't wait to see it in HD on my TV.

Are they showing Meerkat Manor on Discovery HD Theater or just on Animal Planet?

As anxious as I am to see season 3, I don't like the idea of putting it on the web before we see it on TV. We all should see the episodes at the same time. Besides I have dial up and I cannot watch the videos. My computer's speakers do not work and it is too slow. Even if I did have high speed and a better computer, I still don't want all the episodes on the web until I have seen them on TV. Please do not put any more episodes of season 3 on the web until we have seen them on TV. You could however put season 1 & 2 on the web. That would be okay.

I do believe AP Meerkat Manor has lost its better judgement. I know it is up to an individual as to whether or not he or she will watch, but to dilute the wonderment of expectation for the viewer or I shall be so bold as to say the majority of viewers, has no excuse or justification.

Speaking for myself I have been waiting a very long time for Season 3 and do not plan to destroy the experience for myself or others who believe as I do. I watched 30 - 40 seconds to assure myself it was indeed the first episode. That was it until Friday, but no more. I will wait until August 10. My anticipation will not be destroyed by *new concept thinkers*.

One of the major fun aspects of our Meerkat Manor forum was the sharing and discusion of thoughts about the most recent episode as seen by all at the same time on TV whether we agree or not. Even now I see discussion I do not want to see. Now I will need to refrain from visiting a good deal of the forum until I see the episode on Aug.10.

There is a place for this technology, but not until AFTER the episode has played for the first time; much like a rerun, but then in my own lap with my nose to the screen, I can see what I might have missed or see again what I want to enjoy or re-affirm over and over again.

I truly hope Meerkat Manor rethinks their position on this new policy. It is not in the best interest of your Meerkat Manor devoted viewers or at least not this one.

Contrary to popular beliefs not everyone has access to computers. Won't this also ruin their anticipation of the premier if they hear others talking about "Wow, did you see that?". I have marked the date on my calendar and that is the date I plan to watch it. I think they should have taken a vote before doing this to ensure it was what the majority wanted. Watch if you want. That is your choice but I hope I don't accidentally stumble onto the thread where everyone is talking about it because I want to share the new experience with ALL my brothers and sisters watching the show and not have it spoiled by the early birds.We have sat out the wait together so it would have been nice if we could have all been involved in this together as well...Peace out......

Wow. Episode one is awesome!!!

Well, I watched part of it because I was anxious to see if Youssarian was in the credits. I have mixed feeling about this whole thing about putting the episodes on before they air on the television. I am also a little concerned that the viewing numbers will drop if the video is "on demand". Still, it would be nice to have the episodes on line after an episode has aired on TV.

So, I think that the jury is still out on this one at least as far as I am concerned. However, I do believe that you can never have too much Meerkat Manor. MEERKATS RULE!!!

i dont like that the episode is premeiring on the computer before the season shows the episode. it totally ruins it. i have dial up so i cant watch it. i dont want to be behind on meerkat manor. i want all of us to see it at the same time.

please dont show anymore episodes on the computer until they are shown on tv.

We just found 0ut this past weekend. Go to the green area on the boards and select it to view if you want.

I have dialup so there is no way i can watch Meerkat Manor episodes on my computer. Or even the little previews actually.

The more I think about it the more ridiculous it becomes.

The problem is I am dying to watch them, but will wait for Friday etc.

I like having it online

What AP could do is put the episodes on the computer the same time they are on TV.

That's a good idea; like being at a football game and watching it on your TV, but I really do not want it available before the episode airs. That would end all the posts I won't read.

I like the idea of being able to watch it on my laptop. I have DSL and use wireless when traveling so speed is not a problem. I will also watch on HDTV when broadcast.

I watched on TV last night and looked online for a little while this morning. That is ok, but not before it is first shown on MM on AP.
