I was just wondering if there was any chance of having the new episode posted the same day it airs so that people living on the West Coast would be able to join in on the after show talks?
It would be great if they were posted by the same time the East Coast's airs otherwise us folks on the West Coast who only get it at 8:30pm our time are unable to join in any of the discussions that are going on right after the show.
I appreciate your taking this into consideration as with next weeks show, I for one would like to have others too talk to but by the time I see it and get on line, pretty much everyone has already headed to bed!
I'm not clear, are you asking to wait for this week's episode until you see it Pacific time? that would be midnight in the east. I would be willing but don;t see how it could be done at this time - we are so far into the routine already. I thought you see it at 5:30 also? I know that may not be a good time for alot of people.
Melba, it's on at 8:30 in both the west & the east. The first post is asking if the video player can show the episode at the same time as the east coast broadcast, so west coasters don't have to wait another 3 hours to join the discussion. As a west coaster, I personally would still wait the 3 hours to see it on TV resolution, and just join the forum discussions later in the evening. However, I don't speak for all west coasters, who may want to watch it sooner.
Regarding 5:30 broadcasts, a few west coasters do see MM at 5:30 because their digital (or satellite) TV subscriptions synchronize with east coast time. For those like myself with basic cable, we see MM at 8:30.
This time thing is always so confusing. I see the show at 5:30 in Southern Calif. because I have Directv...When I get on the chat after that show, people in the east are already talking about it. Maybe we can just synchronize our times, no matter when we see it...maybe we could wait until Sat. morning or something??? It is a quandry.
this is all getting very confusing, but, hildy, if you are seeing it at 5:30 pacific, which is 8:30 atlantic, we have this weird habit of starting to comment in the "This Weeks Episode" thread WHILE the program is going on.
It is all very strange, but you just unlocked part of it for me, you are watching DirectTV, so you see it at 5:30 pacific but those people watching it on cable are probably seeing it at 8:30 pacific.
