A friend of mine saw a show where you folks made curtains from actual sailboat sails. I am looking for that information. Or any information about these type of curtains.

You can purchase sailcloth at most major fabric stores. It's just a version of canvas/duck cloth and easy to work with for this application. If you can't find enough in stock, ask them to order a bolt for you so that you have enough all in the same dye lot to work with from start to finish.

BTW, it's a cotton-based fabric, so it's also very easy to dye yourself and get a cool effect that way.
