I'm going to paint a room in our church for the youth. I want to do three large horizontal stripes in the same color family. Do I start with lighter on the bottom going up to darker or vice versa? I've seen this on TV so many times but can't remember! Thank you!

Dark to light, I think it would look fine either way though.
