Hi! Ever since I started watching Trading Spaces (and the kids version too) I have been thinking of ways I can improve the inside of my house. After pouring over Southwestern pictures on the internet, I decided that I wanted to have the walls of my living room look like the inside of an adobe/southwestern/mission type house and put false beams on the ceiling and paint the doors and trim brown or stain them. The decor would then be Native American style pictures and objects (ones that honor them - not just junky touristy things - I have some Cherokee ancestors).
SO, questions are:
How do I make the walls look like the inside of a mission or adobe walls?
How do I install false beams?
Should I paint the trim & doors or stain them?

Thanks for reading! If you can help me, I'd appreciate it!
