I desperatly need help with some info on this episode I can never seem to catch it when it is reaired. My husband is a musician and the upholstered walls that Vern did for the home theatre room would be great for sound absorbtion in my house. I've got the concept of cutting the squares or diamonds and upholstering them. But my question is what did he use to hang them on the walls. Just nailing them up would look horrible and I'm not sure of another way to keep them flush against the wall. If anyone remembers or could tell me how to find out the specifics on that episode I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You,
Angie

you could nail them up and then cover the nails with upholstery covered buttons you could hot glue the buttons over the nails, hope this helps

He actually used velcro to adhere the squares/diamonds to the walls. I LOVED this episode!
