Does anyone remember seeing the Trading Spaces episode where Doug stained a sub-floor with a very dark stain and then required the people to apply about 10 coats of polyurethane?? I want to pull up some carpet and don't have the funds to put in new carpet or a wood floor, trying to find an inexpensive quick fix , have a wedding coming up and all my funds are tied up with that....Need any suggestions or help.....
