I remember an episode where they put down plywood in 2 foot squares, rotating the grain, for flooring. I am trying to do that, but i wanted to make sure that I do it correctly. I have an idea, but i did not know if there were any specifics that i am forgetting. Please help.

Hi, I loved that look too! I don't think they did anything special to the wood before they screwed it down....just rotate each piece 90 degrees so the grain alternated. Lightly tinted matte varnish afterwards to bring out the grain. Good luck!
