The PC version is due after (or not before) the 360 version due to a deal with Microsoft (as I understand it from the Greenwave site). It appears that the concentration is on the 360 version, the biggest hurdle has just been met, ie, certification by MS, so now it's just a matter of production and distribution. While it might not happen on 6/10, it won't be too much longer. From all reports, Greenwave (and I assume Sig) wants this correct from the release, no beta prototypes and lengthy patches later. So do I. I'd rather wait a bit and have a usable product without bugs (or at least without major bugs).
my wife etc pre ordered this for me for fathers day, and have been waiting patiently for it to release. today, i checked the store website it was ordered from and now the release date has changed from 6/2/608 to 7/15/08?? i have treid to find out why and cannot talk to anyone to find out. anyone have any info???
According to info at the Greenwave forums, they have had some freeze-ups with the 360 version that they can't explain (as in didn't show up in test sessions) and they are trying to make sure the PC version is ok before they put it out. A Greenwave rep has confirmed the 7/15 date, but reading between the lines, it might be sooner. I'm in the same boat, pre-ordered since May, but I'd rather see it late and right than right now and flawed.
