A violent itch has been stalking me for the past four years that mainly consists of tiny red itchy bumps that sting and cry out to be scratched.
It's all over. Head to toe, every part of the body - including head, scalp and face.
I've had a food allergy test, stoped using shower gel/washing powder and have seen two different dermatologists with no luck. Nothing seems to be working. From Antihistermines to most skin creams on the market.
My skin has turned ultra sensitive and even a slight arm brush past a door frame would result in inflamed skin in the form of scaly red bumpy lines that would dissapear within 5 mins.
I am still on Antihistermines and it's a living hell.
Hi there! I can understand what you are going through. Up until last year I suffered severly with eczema covering me head to foot literaly. It's taken about £3000 of chinese herbalist treatment to get it as good as it is now but it's not gone. I still have a really bad scalp and I'm scarred. Any way back to you, Whatever happens DO NOT use creams with steroids in. That is one thing I beg you. I am covered in scars from using them, I wasn't told what they did to the skin. Just don't use them. What i did when my eczema was really bad was I put some natural cream on and bandaged my arms and legs up so I didn'y get in contact with anything and I've soon hardened off. Plus if you can get the money I strongly advise chinese herbal medicine. I was lucky to have someone pay for it for me otherwise I'd be back where I was. I know it's hard but don't let it get you down. Take cold baths and there's this stuff you can put in the bath called oilatum. that's really good too. I hope that I may have helped you a little bit.
I also have extremely sensetive skin. Like u said a little bump or scratch looks like a scar with signifficant redness. And it also disappers within 5 minutes or so. I am extremely sensetive to many beauty products. If i have my facials I always make sure that the products they use are for sens. skin. Otherwise I have a severe reaction and dry skin (total Hell). Anyways, sometimes I get itching like u sad from head to toys, I was able to linke this itching problem if I eat too much sweets. From now I started using sugar substitutes and so far no itching. Think, maybe u too consume to much of something. Analyze, what have u been eating in last couple of moths. People with sensetive skin usualy sensetive to a lot of things, like food, clothes (I cant wear anything synthetic or made ut of wool), beaty products ect. Good luck!
