I have the answer. I have had acne problems all my life. 2 rounds of acutane did solve the face problems but the butt problems came back. Everything else the dermatologist ever prescribed didn't work or even made the problem worse. After much trial and error here is what I came up with.

When you are in the shower, you soap up your butt with plain soap (no perfume stuff that might help cause the problem). Then you basically scratch it for about 5 minutes. My finger nails are trim, so it's not to an extreme. You are trying to take off that top layer of skin. To start, you'll have to do less cause you won't be able to sit afterwards otherwise. Your pimples will be bright red or I even had some slighty bleeding. If you can do this twice or three times a day to start, you'll be even further ahead.

All these ideas of simply shower more is a bunch of crap from people who didn't have the problem you have and I did. This may not work for everyone because I certainly have not conducted a study, but it worked for me. It took about 5 days to clear up significantly but you will see results probably even the next day. Good luck and hope this helps. If it does, spread the word for me to help others because this is my one post.

so ive read every entry on here & i think im gonna have 2 go to the dr. ive had this problem ever since i can remember. ive never told anybody because its to embaressing. It really does affect my sex life because i wont let guys see or touch my naked butt. Which my butt is usually the reason men are attracted to me in the first place so you see my problem.... but i just dont know what to do anymore & it seems like somethings work for people & somethings dont. i honestly have had enough of this not gonna waste my time on trying something that might not work. i suggest just go 2 the dr. like everybody else is sayin the dr has seen it all, even worse so just go. yeah its embaressing but do u want to be embaressed in front of a dr(who deals with this on the daily) for a few mins or would you rather hide & be ashamed & embaressed for a much longer time? think about it yall.

The problem that a lot of you are talking about with "pimples" on the butt are not really pimples at all people. I thought the same thing for so long and I am a clean freak and nothing worked until I actually went to the doctor. It is actually a staph infection called "folicalitis" and it won't go away with any type of soaps. It is a bacteria and needs to be killed with antibiotics and topical creams. You can find out a lot more about it on the Web MD website. It is usually caused from people that sit all day at a job or school. It is not an STD and you can't give it to anybody which is good, it just needs antibiotics. Hope this helps some of you out there.

Try this:

1.Exfoiliate with a medicated facial scrub on your buttocks (morning/night)(you can buy these at target /walmart)

2.Use a antibacterial/antiseptic soap on your
buttocks.(morning/night)/You can use Dettol antibiotic soap, or provon soap or Grandpa's pine tar soap. (PLEASE GOOGLE ALL OF THIS AND READ ABOUT IT)

3.Getting rid of SCARS: Use a topical creme (u will need to see Dermatologist for subscription for the topical cream. The cream should have tretinoin in it. It is also called Retin A)

OR you can go on your own and try to put a creme that has benzoil peroxide on every night (can bleach your panties/pants) (sleep on your belly and let your butt breathe!

Hope this helps.

Thanks Jetta2, I strongly believe after reading almost all of these posts that "folicalitis" is the culprit, almost certain in fact. Especially since for most people the "pimples" aren't going away with soaps and pimple creams. The antibiotics work, but you need to go to a doctor and get the prescription medicine. Once you get these antibiotics from your doctor, you too can once again have a appealing baby smooth butt like me! :-)

Like I said Web MD has a lot more info. on "folicalitis" and it's easy to get rid of with the proper treatment.

Hi everyone. I got the same problem after travelling a lot - sitting in the planes and trains and cars for almost 2 months. Never had it before. I don`t think it`s from any poor hygiene, I am very clean and take a shower very often, also my home is extremely clen etc. What I really think is that it`s caused by some immunity insufficiency - I mean when your immunity is not strong enough, mainly due to lots of stress etc. Frankly I think all these creams are not the right answer - and they don`t work ideally as we all can see - maybe for a while, but...I think what we really need is a detox - cleaning our body from inside.
Anyways, I made quite a long online research on some foreign forums (so many people have the same problem all over ther world)and here is a list of some answers I got, but I am not sure if it will help. You can try if you want, at your own risk.
1. Find some cream with extract from calendula officinalis
2. Exfolderm® 12 Cream (30 mg) Tube Contains: 24% glycolic complex (12% free Glycolic Acid, pH= 3.2 mg)
or: http://exfolderm.com/
3. Locacid - manufactured by Pierre Fabre - Common Brand Names: Avita; Renova; Vesanoid; Retin-A
4. Weleda cosmetics: maybe this:
http://usa.weleda.com/our-prod....aspx?ind=67&m=&ing=
5. Drinking the nettle tea for 2 months - as a detox:
http://www.teabenefits.com/her...le-tea-benefits.html
6. A Russian cream called Radevit - maybe you can get it in some Russian stores in Brooklyn (Brighton Beach area)

I started by the most natural way, I`m drinking the nettle tea, it sucks because the taste is not the best but I survived 4 days already and slowly I`m getting used to it.

If anyone tries anything from the list and it helps, please let me know.

Tomorrow I`m going to get something for the immunity support, something natural, and will try it too.

Good luck everyone, and let`s fight bravely! Smile

12 days later: Besides drinking the nettle leaf tea I started to do a dead sea mask - this one:
http://www.deadseacosmetic.com/exfoliating.html

I bought it much cheaper at TJMaxx but you can get agood deal at ebay, buying a 10 lb pail of it. Anyways, I put a thick layer of the mud on my butt and layed down on a towel on my bed for about 15-20 min. Then I went to the shower and cleaned it up. I creamed my butt with a German cream from the company called Balea. Great stuff, I bought it just to try it when I was in Europe - it`s actually for the face and I`m not sure if Germans would love to see it on my butt, but it helps. My butt is almost clean and there is only 1 pimple left, no new coming up. I hope it will continue improving. New tips for treating this I found online include:
1. hazel witch
2. aloe vera
3. yves rocher cosmetics: http://www.yvesrocherusa.com/control/main/

I also bought the cream with the calendula officinalis: http://www.drugstore.com/qxp28...lendula_ointment.htm

If my "German therapy" fails for any reason, I`ll try this, too.

Good luck everyone.

So i am 15 and i've had this problem since i was 13! i play volleyball and i am almost positive i get them from wearing spandex 24/7 i absolutely hate them and they are majorly embarrassing! i have tried bleach as my doctor suggested and they get rid of the current ones but not for the long run. pimple cream doesnt work. i was going to try the hand sanatizer or whatever because i have that at home and its worth a shot. sun helps but i can never find a place or time to do that! ha i would go to my doctor but i have tried that before and they gave me a perscription for pills. i took them and they did nothing? after that my doctor just says oh they will go away; take bleach baths so its a little frustrating! i would say help but everyone seems to have given as much advice as possible and they don't seem long term at all :/ so for now i guess i'll just deal with the pain because i can't stop wearing spandex, i've heard girls on my team mention them to so im positive thats what it is.

Girls, my wife was confounded and embarrased by the same issue. She went to her dermatologist and was diagnosed as having folliculitus. She was given a prescription for a medicated wipe to use after showering. You can research the condition on-line fairly easily. Stop worrying and good luck.

I had the problem of butt pimples for years. Finally went to the doctor and he advised sea salt wash and lots of sun. A new fence in the back yard was a big help, but it worked!

What to do with butt pimples?

Visiting a Dermatologist is the best you can do. To begin with, he will examine in every possible way to find out the root cause of these pimples on your buttocks. Your doctor is an expert and you can rely on him for a remedy. Give up on the creams, soaps, or other fad treatments and pay a visit to a doctor today.

Besides that, there are many other options that you can aim. It may sound obnoxious, but the fact is that soap, laundry detergent, or other beauty products can lead to skin inflammation. You wear clothes and perspiration is inevitable. Make sure that you wash your body using hypoallergenic soap following workout because accumulation of sweat and dirt can inflict pimples.

Now, ill-fitting underwear can be good enough reason for your butt acne. Similarly, artificial fibers, like polyester or nylon do no good to your skin other than friction, giving way to pimples. Instead, you must indulge in wearing absorbent material and natural fibers.

Squeezing your butt pimples is something you can do without. All you need to do is cleansing the butt area 2-3 times a day but of course with an odorless soap or a specific acne cleanser that has no harsh chemicals whatsoever. An ointment rich in benzyol peroxide or salicylic acid is ideal for drying up butt acne. And much beyond that, maintain a healthy diet and drink plenty of water to do away with pimples.

You will not have to wait for long, now onwards for that smooth, blemish free butt worthy of being flaunted in a G-string.
