One of my favorites is a voodoo one that wearing a red cord tied in seven places from your left side keeps the devil away. It is mainly because of a coincidence, I heard about this tradition about six months after I tied the red lanyard my keys are on into knots and have always had it hanging out of my left pocket.

My least favorite superstition....well, Kelsey already said my least favorite about the black cat. So here's another:
My grandma is real superstitious, and she would about yank us up by the hair of the head if we tried to walk under a ladder so that one's never been too pleasurable for me.
My fave? Not sure if this is a superstition, but I loved throwing pennies in the water fountains and making a wish.

I hate the one where if you see a moth, something bad will happen. Because every once in a while I will see one in my house, and one time something bad did happen, but maybe that was just a coincidence.
about a year ago i just happened to find these forums and i didnt make an account so i couldnt get back to it for some reason, but i remember someone posting that after their grandpa died they kept seeing moths all over and whenever they saw one, they would say, "hi grandpa."
