The Elves and the Hobbits from the Lord of the Rings, and Were Wolves and Vampires... And not those ugly looking ones either.. the ones that are really sleeke and graceful..And Dragons also... and same thing with them.. I thought Draco in Dragonheart was amazing... And I thought the person they chose to do the voice was perfect... Sean Connery.... A fellow Scot.. *sigh*

I always loved Unicorns! Two of my favorite movies when I was young were "The last Unicorn" and "Legend" with Tom Cruise.

Ok, Captian Kirk might be worth mentioning. I loved those old Star Ship Enterprise episodes with all those colorful characters. To boldly go where no man's gone before. Beam me up Scotty. Cool

No, but I wouldn't mind visiting one of those Star Trek conventions and seeing people dressed in all the colorful uniforms. That should be some seen.

My daughter loved that dragon in Dragonheart so much that for months she carried around this toy T-rex wrapped up in a baby blanket that was her Draco. She stills ask me to rent that movie. I guess I should buy it, LOL. That was a great movie.

Oh, the Elves from the LOTR! That's got to be my favorite. I really like the gryphon and phoenix too.

Big Grin Hi All!

Lady, I saw that movie the Last Unicorn in Wal-Mart just the other day. It is still one of may favorite movies.

Speaking as a myth myself, just kidding, some of the myths I know are these:

Hydra - many headed snake
Dragons - my favorite
Griffins - 1/2 lion 1/2 eagle
Merpeople
Harpes
Trolls
Cerberus - 3 headed dog
Chimera - 1 part each - goat, lion, and snake
Centaurs

And a whole lot more that I could name. I used to read a lot about mythology in high school. Still do when I have time.
