Just for curiousity's sake, I might go on a Ghost hunt again. I been wanting to for awhile, but I think I'm ready now.
I will never forget the experience I had when I was little stumbling into a hidden grave site in the woods. Now I will take a video recorder and see if I can pick up any evps.
But I'm not stupid. I am taking spiritual precautions aswell( you know I always do). Wouldnt want no spirit attaching to me like that kid in the haunting episode. I am taking my Iron Cross and wearing my self-made Pentacle of Solomon as protection. I just hope that doesnt interfere with catching any evps?
On a side note. I've been waitin to post this for a while but havent.... Havent had the time or concentration.
The episode you are referring to actually mimics my son in jail. No, he didnt go to a cememtery nor did he use dowsing rods but everything else matches.
My son would do things and say things he couldnt remember the next moment. He stole from all of us. He dreamnt of the devil and partied with "it" (I will not give Satan the acknowledgement he would love) he would argue with me and not recall it even a short hour later. He was all about hanging out with friends that I know now, was dealing drugs, drinking, smoking etc... I AM NOT saying you are the same! But the lure is there..My middle son tried to go to a few cemetery's in my town. I told him if he didnt come home, I was calling the police and reporting him as a vandalism case.
While I have the tendancy to drink and party once in a while(I'm still young), by no means am I rash.
My rebellious days are long ago, I couldnt be more happier with my family and their care. I am blessed to have them. I only wish you and your son could be reunited. I wish the best for you and your son, Mooch!
By the way, your son is only a few years younger then me. I'm in my early twenties.
If you REALLY want to visit a cememtery, visit your local military cemetery.... San Antonio just buried brave Sgt. Matthew Mendoza 24 years old today. He had a six year old boy that he has left. Forget the ghost! Give your time to the soldier that died think that HE WAS COMING HOME. Ghost come later. Take a Big Boy Pill and give regards to the ones who deserve it. Not the spirits, ghost, apparitions etc.. that are interesting. Tell all of them that they GOT TO WAIT FOR the REAL HERO and maybe afterwards, they may get so afterthought. They are in the cemetery, right??? Sgt. Mendoza is with the Lord and gets dibs. The cemetery aint going no where!

Mystic - I have 2 sons. One son is obviously in jail as you may have read. But he has a sciatia that never developed as it should have so he walks like a Chulo, Chicano homeboy. But not by choice...He is to have therapy. When he was baby, that part didnt grow as it should have. He also has a right knee cap that has turned to the outside of his knee. His knee caps faces to the left.. He really walks like a chulo, bent over. He is really in need of medical care.
Yes, I appreciate everyone's imput. I am twenty two. When I was little I had experience in a cementary I will never forget. It was Hollow's Eve (halloween) and me a few buds decided to go frolocking in the woods. We had adult supervision of course, my friends dad to guide us, so we werent alone. Suddenly we began finding grave stones all over..It was a Civil War grave site. And I will never forget coming head on with one of the grave stones..It had the moon light descending on it, like its own special spot light. Obviously we had found someone of great importance, and indeed he must have been a general or captain. I will never forget that night.

Thanks mooch. Its a pity he cant get the needed medical attention. How long is his sentence? Jail is just not a place for a young man like that. My prayers are with you and your son.
Mystic I know you said you are a lil older than my boys. Trust me. Yes, Mijo, seek and you will find trouble with the cememtery's!! It sounds exciting and challenge but what follows you home is a whole different story. Wait. Pray. Let the Holy Spirit Guide you. If you are meant to visit the cemetery at night, YOU will know. For now, plz sit back. Wait. Hey. I'll even go with you myself if I can. I think YOU KNOW your not supposed to go. No?

Thx Mystic. He is at the courts mercy. Every time I visit him, I ask him, did Mom tell you no? Come home. Only trouble awaits late at night. He didnt listen. Dont put yourself in the same situation. I dont mean the drugs or drinking (unless u are!) I meant stay home. I understand you are not a child but surely common sense kicks in. Has it?

Maybe you are right. I do need a bit more experience, so I will hold it off for now. I guess I'm just the adventerous type. But hey! At least am cautios. You know that!

SIGH!! Thank God!! Wait awhile certainly! Even Animus thought it a good idea. For your sake. I feel at ease, God Bless.

Wow Moochie, you just talked Mystic out of going ghost hunting, I am impressed.

Well, since he is incarcerated, ask him if he could schedule an appointment with a doctor to look at his knee. Believe it or not, the Jails and Prisons have qualified Surgeons that would be perfectly qualified to operate, and guess what? Our tax dollars pay for it, so tell him. I don't know how it works in Texas, but over here, every once in a while, we work with a few inmates and the county pays.

One of my favorite adages goes:
"The mysterious is the most wonderful experience we can have."
But the one that worries me goes something like:
"Seek and ye shall find"
Whoa, your going into a cemetary? Forget my advice and leave every weapon and charm you have at the gates (for the love of God, man, don't try and break in!), you won't need them.
If while in the cemetary, you see a tall shadowy figure, stop, get down on you knees, look straight ahead and declare your intentions. You will be safe and probably will get the results your are looking for.

The night shift rent-a-gaurd or cemetary grounds keeper?????
I have never been on a ghost hunt. I have a friend who wants me to go to this place between Crocker and Dixon Missouri called Cry Baby Hollar.. Apparently at 12 midnight(so predicatable) on Halloween night(but wouldnt that also be 12 am on the 1st of Turkey month??) you can hear a babies cries way off in the woods, and a mother's weeping who is said to be searching for her baby. Then a light shines in the forrest as if a door is being opened and then it dissapears again as though it has shut So they said it is a gateway to hell. Who knows... But what I DO know is that many poeple who HAVE gone out there have had trouble with their car, getting it started again, or even have had accidents on their way BACK from Cry Baby Hollar. Needless to say I told her I really didn't think that was a good idea. And we have not went yet. We have been to an old, and I mean OLD(95% of the graves are babies graves) type of old cemetary called Cedar Hill cemetary. There is an odd feeling you;re not alone there... And this cemetary is not used anymore, though it is kept up and taken care of, but not that many poeple know about it, and it is on Ft. Leonard Wood, the Army base about 3 miles from where I live. Even on a sun shiney lovely day it gives you the creeps. And there is a road that goesaround behind it.. Now it's only wide enough to walk on. It goes back to an old rangers tower now abandoned when this area used to be a park land before the military took it over for the base. When you walk along the road you can hear something down in the ravine on the left side of the road walking right along with you, and whenever you stop, it stops. My friend and I took our dogs down there, and were walking on the gravel path, or road. And down below us in the ravine about 30 feet below us you could hear heavy foot steps in the leaves. But you can't see anything because the trees are so dense. And the dogs went crazy barking and growling. We went out there about 3 or 4 times, and this happened each time. Finally I told her I didn't want to go out there anymore because I got a freakish feeling about it. Why did it take so many times for me to decide it wasn't a good idea??? Becuase I was about 17. Not to say all teens are slow to get warning signs... But I was. It didn't help that my friend was pushy and controlling and got irritated at me if I seemed to pick up on something that wasn't good, and ruined the "fun". She told me I was too careful... Well, one of us better be. LOL. Anyway, it was a creepy experiance. Also off in the woods, there is a chopping sound you can hear as if someone is chopping wood. Only no one lives out there, because it's on base, and out in the boonies. Anyone who did live there is long since gone because the Base bought them out on their property. Now it's just wilderness, and grave yards galore, and your occasional old run down buildings from towns that no longer exist. You can hear this noise many times when you go out there,(chopping wood is not something you can just go do on base, it's government land)and someone said that if you yell at it to stop it stops as if the chopper is stopping to listen to the distant yell... I don;'t know if that's true because I never yelled at it... No thanks. I heard it, but I ignored it. It's pretty interesting place to go though, especially if you like to get grave rubbings. But some graves are so old there is nothing on them, and the family just remembered by position where their baby was burried. Most I think died of Typhis, and cholera, and just poor care.. As it was in those days so often.
the friend who walked with me down that road with our dogs and the one who wanted me to go to Cry Baby Hollar with her are not the same. I am no longer friends with the one who walked that gravel rode with me. I am still friends with Elsie though, I used to work with her when I worked for the school district.

Lady - Mystic didnt need my advice. He had it in his heart and concious the entire time. He's a smart person.

Animus knew it was not a good idea. (Kudos!).
I have a very very very hard time going to my murdered nephews burial. I cant even talk. All I do is cry. Its been 15 yrs but how does your human mortal body explain/apologize/comfort a sould that was only 18 yrs when he was killed?
