Well, it got deleted. Nonetheless, I was just mortified over this news. I wanted to add that, ironic that the father claimmed the child had demons, wheninfact, it was pretty clear the father had the demons! It reminded of me of the Exorcism of Emily rose where she keep seeing demonic faces in everyone. Obviously the father was being tormented by something...

Thankyou dear for continuing my topic. I was saying that I agree with Deb, that I don't blame the police officers for shooting him, but he got the easy way out. I definately think Demons were tormenting him, and unfortunately this poor innocent child paid the price.

that's what my friend Mahmoud said too.. That he wished he wouldn't have gotten the easy way out... animus, I don't know how we can show you without putting the link up cause it might be deleted again... the thought of demons being the cause of something seems to scare some poeple... But maybey it was the nature of the crime that concirned the mods and that's why they took it down... I'll be fair.. Anyway, the dad's first name was Serge or Sergio or something like that.

Well, maybe Ladyluv can post the link again for Animus.

And to the Mods - I think the post is appropriate! Obviously something was evil haunting this man to drive him to such a inhumane act.

well mooch, it wasn't actually a post that explained it, it was actually a link to a news article you had to read. I was online with my friend in Jordan at the time and read the whole thing to him... it was insane and sad....

lol lol lol.... No... in the "old days".. lol... the old rich white men would say it to show that they agreed with their friends on an issue... I think it was mensioned in Titanic by the guy who played Winston in the Mummy. "Here here, old Boy!!!" Calling you a dog... silly... I would never to that.. I think you rock... Smile

This man had to have had some kind of demonic possession going on to do something this horrible. The thing that bothered me about this incident was the bystanders who stopped their cars and watched this happen. They could have intervened and stopped this mad man. If they were scared to go it alone, they could have gone in as a group and prevented any further violence. Who knows what they were thinking.

I agree 100% with you, Engineer. I would never never never (can't say it enough) witness a child getting beat and not intervene. How could these people who stood and did nothing sleep at night and live with themselves??? I don't understand. I have read before, and I agree that child abuse is everyone's business!!! It is not possible for you to be sticking your nose in where it doesn't belong when it comes to abuse.

Actually Engineer, from the reports I read, they did intervene. A volunteer firefighter pulled over with his girlfriend, it was a very quiet backroad, she called the cops he tried to get the man off his son. The child was pretty lifeless already. The father even went as far to ask them for a knife. So they tried and so did the cops but this man was determined and strong. There was no standing and watching.

No, love. Thats not intervening. I would have freakin' tackled that imbecile. Despite my size I would have made every effort to stop his assault to save that child.

I'm sorry. I am a little upset over this..

Something that I will always wonder is if the dad was telling the truth. Seems like there is no winning either way. In one scenario, if the child did have demons in him, then they would know the father would be killed after killing the son. If it was the father who was demonically influenced, the child would be killed and the father blamed.

This is a story for the books

I don't think a 2 year old child could be demonically influenced, well, unless he was like Damian from the Omen.
