A year ago my father-in laws dog got hit by a car and got killed. she was pregnat. and a week away from her due date. when I found out she was got hit it had been about 20min. and the puppys were still moving in her, and I ask my father-in law if he wanted to try and save them. so we opened her up and saved 2 puppys and they are doing wonderful. And everyone said they would not be around if it was not for me. I just tell people that here it. That I love animals and will do almost anything to help them.
In a similar situation, I don't think most people would have the presence of mind to even think of the possibility of saving the puppies, much less be willing to cut into the dog and get all bloody. I'm not sure how this directly relates to the discussion of The Alaska Experiment, but you have reason to be proud of yourself. Congratulations!
