i have a betta and i am not sure what type of food i should be feeding him i started to feed him these fish flakes (it says for tropical fish) that i got with the tank and then i also tried these block thing that dissolves into the water and it says it will feed like 3-5 fish for 7 days but it made a big mess so i went back to the flakes i think he is okay with them he has never really passed up food but i was just wondering if i should keep using what i have or go get some betta pellets thanks

Id keep switching between flakes and pellets, it keeps them interested.

Never use the block, they arent meant for betta fish and they are not ment to be used as a constant food source. they are weekly vacation feeders, and only supposed to be used in your absense for a given number of days.

pellets are ezer to to give out and don't make shuch a mess

I agree with switching but with bloodworms,pellets and brine shrimp.
