Hello....Okay...I just got some new fish today. I have only had bettas, never a real tank with real fish. So....I ended up with 2 dalmation mollies, 2 strawberry tetras, and 1 gold dust molly. My question is about the dalmation mollies. I think one is male and one is female. I think the one that is female is pregnant cuz she is huge!! both of them have been pooping ALOT!! I have no idea if this normal or not. B/c of me thinking that one is prego I put a little breeder tank-with a lid with lots of tiny holes- inside the big tank. She is alone in that tank but the one I think is male is circling it and trying to get to her. Is this all normal and how long should I leave her alone? I just got them and don't want them to die but Idon't want her to have the babies while I am sleeping and the other fish eat them. What do I do??

Congrats! Coolguy27 is right. You need to take her out and put her in a tank all by herself until she has the little ones then keep her calm and put her back in the tank and feed the babies bloodworms or brine shrimp. You can also just crush up some regular food and they will eat that. Good luck!
