Hi I am seriously needing help. I have a new tank a 55- gal and it has cycled and everything.

My question is I have guppies and every morning I wake up they have parts of there tails missing. Can someone tell me which of my fish is causing this?

I have
1 raphael spotted catfish
1 blue gourami
1 blue spotted gourami
2 gold gouramis
3 guppies
5 neons
3 cherry barbs, 1 male, 2 female
1 pair of goldust mollies
4 small platties
1 pair of black sailfin mollies

Can someone tell me what is picking my fish?
I lost my redtail today, but he was turning gray so I dont know what happened.

I took my black guppy out because she is pregnant, and my tequila guppy (the one that has parts of his tail) I put them in the breeder together, they are doing better but I am gonna keep them in there so they arent killed. My tequila is the black guppies mate anyways.

its probably the gourami, they can be somewhat agressive.

are you sure it is caused by the other fish?

are there clean cuts missing from the tail?
or is it more freyed and whitish at the very edges?

I just lost my tequila guppy and the black one, plus 2 neons. I am Po'd.

They were frayed, he had no orange around his tail.

I am gonna get my water tested to see why all my fish are dying.

Thanks for the help.

I figured out that it was my gouramis. So PetSmart took them and traded them for guppies. All my fish are doing better, I just have to go buy more, since I lost so many.

Thanks for you help Smile
