Does anyone know how I can clean and or get rid of the algae growth on my fabric like plants and fake coral in my saltwater tank. Usually it has just rinsed off in the past even with a little scrubbing with a toothbrush, but this time its not coming off very easily. Any suggestions? I know that some algae removers can't be used in saltwater tanks. Please help.

Take it for what it is worth, but what I did in the past was this- I took a high concentrate of the sea salt and put it in a deep glass bowl and soak the coral. It killed the algae as it can not live in high brack-ish water. Also check your salt levels in your tank.

You dont want to take off the algae on your plants, sounds wierd, but this is healthy for your fish. So, dont try to take it off unless you feel your tank is really dirty. Smile

dont take it off unless the tank is really dirty, just clean it then with clean water. For now, make sure you have a algae eater, usually a fish.
