*Scoffs* They'll NEVER do another meerkat family. I doubt that report. And they'll always focus on the valuable Whiskers family group.

The Whiskers can only be around for so long. And if the Whiskers did die, the focus might turn toward the Aztecs, who aren't doing horribly.

And just remember that the Whiskers aren't the only ones out there. The Aztecs, the Young Ones(who MM calls the Zappa), unfortunately the Vivian(who MM calls the Comandoes) have died.

All I'm saying is that just because the Whiskers might die, it doesn't mean that the other meerkat groups aren't as fascinating. In fact many are just as social and also have great leaders.

The Whiskers is an important group, but it is "Meerkat Manor", and other mobs can be followed. Flower's descendants formed, or joined other mobs.

absolutely, zettak. i agree 100% with your statement and i hope meerkat manor starts to follow the ty, the aztecs, the boabab, and the (kmp) commandos in addition to rocket dog and her whiskers. flower and zaphod/yossarian all came from good stock. i've heard it said that zaphod and yossarian's mother vivian started the group that bears her name pretty much by herself. she raised the first litter as the only adult. the group eventualy grew into a powerful mob. someone is going to be a special leader, but will it be rocket dog, monkulus, hawkeye, finn, or maybe even tina sparkle could follow in the footsteps of her great grandmother? i'm pulling for all the males too, led by zarathustra but only females can be great meerkat leaders. males can be great for males, but it is the dominant females that lead the group, give birth to most of the pups, and generally have the most influence on the success of the group.

well there is other groups out there and the whiskers in my opionion i don't think rocketdog can lead them but thats only my opionion and the whiskers are hogging the camaras owell this is what i say the whiskers aren't the only group who should get the camaras and with out a male theres nobady to mate with so that means no pups

I don't think anybody can judge RocketDog's leadership style yet. She is relatively inexperienced. They are a lot of rovers (the two Young Ones brothers that tried to join the Whiskers and the Aztecs many times, other wild males), and the Whiskers are a smaller group now, with a lot less natal males to contest them. A non natal male (or more) can join the group. I only worry about MachuPichu (or other natal males) when this happens. He could be expelled; this is common. Pronker gave a hint. The KMP February report is due in a few days. Amira gave birth already, and two other females were pregnant and evicted. RocketDog aborted, so this means that the evicted females are probably back and they could have given birth. We don't know if any (and how many) of their litters survived. There is a possibility of having a lot of pups added to the numbers of the group (including Amira's). It would be fitting if HR, or Philippe became DMs. Holly, the Whiskers' founder was from the Young Ones. I only worry about the presence of TB.

I would like MM to follow Flower's daughters and sons and their groups, including Zara and the Commandos. Females can form a new group, but males have to fight to join one and maintain their position, especially if it is a larger, older, established one. It's easier, I guess, if the group is new and very small. I think that all Flower, Zaphod, and Yossarian's sons and daughters have potential of becoming great leaders (judging from the parents and grandparents).
