I looked up the birthdates of these 3, they were each born in 2002. Here's a quote from someone:

Sounds good youssy, but even now, both Zaphod and Youssarian were Flowers best guys. I do not know about back then. I think that may be one reason no one is really sure. It may take the DNA tests to tell, but that is really great digging and you could be absolutely right. Sounds right anyway
