I will be honest because you deserve it. He was violently attacked during a roving mission and was seen bleeding running off into the desert. he was not seen again since. There is a 95% chance he is dead.

I don't think anybody really knows what happened to him. When he went roving at the Lazuli, he was viciously attacked by the returning Lazuli males and then disappeared. His roving buddy was killed. Based on this, I think he more than likely is dead. But, I guess there's always hope.
