Everyone:

I have seen many people post that Flower and others were pregnant during the months of December and January. Also, that several pups were born in the month of January. Where is this information coming from? Is it from the book? It cannot be from KMP History reports, because pursuant to katlady1115 post community.discovery.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/2381948938/m/8371951929

KMP began these reports in April and there are no prior reports before that month.

So were are the sources to support these claims that are being posted?

But if there were 8 females pregnant.. why didn't we saw the pups than? it's just izzy busta & suggs and maybeline & daisy's pups.. where are the other 20 ones? cuz most litters contain 4 pup rite? and 8 times 4 is 32 but.. where are they? XD

The other 5/6 meerkats had abortions? :'( nooo damned.. i'd like them having a pup-party with like 30 puppys omgosh.. why did they born dead? because of the stress?

Most likely it was the stress and lack of food, and also many of the pregnant kats were very young and pregnant for the first time. I've read that a somewhat high percentage of first-time pregnancies for meerkats end in miscarriage.

Can't recall if it was an exerpt from TCBs book that pronker posted or what but there were 8 females pregnant, including Flower. Not all pups make it. With that many to feed, it would have been hard. Some may have been aborted, some may have died shortly after birth. I doubt if there were extra babysitters to feed all of them either.

There is a list of names with birthdates on the FKMP web site under Naming. That has the names (KMP names) the id number, and birthdate. It helps because you can see by date who was in the same litter or collection of litters.

Also quite a lot of the time if a female gives birth wile another female is pregnant the odds are the pregnant female will kill the other females pups.
