i see this site has gotten some new members while i have been away. but i don't like it now when people talk bad about flower. she is after now my favorite.
There are a lot more members. It took me 15 minutes to register 2 weeks ago after the pups were eaten by Kinks. Everyone had something they just have to get out and say this season. It really is a much more tough love, hard knocks season that the previous two.

Wow mozartfan27 - you've been struck by the awesomeness of Flower Power! Great to know that you now see what an incredibly wonderful meerkat Flower is. She will be the Queen of the Kalahari in my heart forever.

What is so interesting about meerkat society is that it is lead by the female. So Flower has to be both the leader of the mob (about 50) and the mother of her pups which can pull in two different ways. The concept of extended family is right here. No living down the street in the next burrow. We are all in this together.
Tonight we saw her make a hard choice, the kind of choice where either way can go very very badly.
Hi, I'm new too and I must say that I too adore both Mozart and Flower. I don't think it's right to blame Flower either. Everybody makes mistakes. The leader can't take the blame for everthing!!!
i used to hate flowewr because she evicted mozart all the time but now i see that what she did she did for the group and it was the best for the group. and your right flower can't take all the blame for evicting mozart because a few times mozart bascally got herself evicted.
I for one have watched MM from day one and I have been a Flower follower ever since. I think Flower is the greatest mom ever. I know she does what she does because she is very smart and knows what is good for her mob. It may not be nice but her end results are a strong and loyal family. There will always be times when we don't agree on some of her tactics but she is only trying to keep her gang feed and alive and great leaders will do just about anything to do this...
Count me in as a Flower lover. Her strength and wisdom have made the Whiskers mob the successful mob that they are. Let's just hope Rocketdog inherited her mommy's traits and is just as successful. loving flower and rooting for rocketdog!
i wrote a poem about flower not because i was bored or something. i wrote it because she EARNED it. she earned the respect and admiration of all of us. even those that didn't like her. there is alot to be learned from such a wise and giving leader. she will always be a part of my life.
mozartfan27. I remember your posts from a very long time ago. Glad to see you have different feelings now. Our very wonderful and special Flower wins everyone over in the end. But we all love Mozart too. So can you!
I adore Flower...she's such a tough, brave little lady. Actually, last weekend, I got a tattoo of Flower on the left side of my lower back. Radio collar and all. I never want to forget her, and every time someone asks me about the tattoo, I have the pleasure of telling them all about this incredible little gal.
