juat to say i will really miss my fav meerkat. i felt so sorry for her and really did want her luck to turn for the better, what a bitter cruel turn in fate for her to die just when it looked like it might just happen. with flower and mozart gone it will be interesting to see what happens next time. they will be missed

I'm not wild about this Spoiler forum....it takes all of the excitment out of waiting for a weekly program. It was bad enough finding out about dear Flower....now Kinkajou and dear Mozart....It s*cks!

This season has been soooo sad but I had managed to keep from crying except when the Whiskers left poor Squiggy to the desert.Eeven when my fav, Tosca died I accepted it was nature. Now poor Mozart too?!?

I found out about Mozart the day before yesterday in the UK spoiler section. Tears were streaming down my face as I read the story of her last episode as retold by Crittkat.

She was special.

tosca and mozart are my tied-for-favorites. although most of the time i prefer truth to delusion, i've never really admitted to myself that tosca is dead... i figure we don't know for absolute sure that she isn't just out of the area doing just fine. so it's going to be the toughest time yet for me when i see my poor mozart's body

When I first came here and "crossed the line" to the spoiler section, it was all about Flower.
And that was OK b/c of the statement by the producer and all that stuff.

I loved the beginning of the season, when there were no UK spoilers. Then the UK spoilers came and they kept 'spilling' into the other threads , sometimes the other thread titles , so there is no way to avoid knowing the UK stuff.

Titles like "Starsky are no more...", "The Gattica are gone", "No tears for Kinkaju" and "flower gone and Mozart too -it make me sad" just gave it all away. (No offense to those who posted them)

I wish I didn't know. I went to the UK spoilers after seeing the Mozart posts, but this is not the way I wanted to see this season.

I agree with Newman. I may try to avoid this next season or avoid the boards if the spillover is too much.

But that is for another thread, sorry.

As for Mozart, I am very attached to her. I kind of identify with her and was really pulling for her to continue surviving. This is all very sad. So sad.

But I am taking these deaths one at a time, and all I can deal with right now is Flower. After tomorrow night, there will be another lovely girl and then Mozart.

My heart is with all of them.

melbacake, I think the spill over is because of peoples reaction to the uk spoiler section. Which I have to admit I'am guilty of participating in. I know my emotions get the better of me after reading the uk section. I can understand how you and newman feel. I may not want to visit the spoiler section on the next season.
Having said that, I'am glad I did visit the uk spoiler section, for I would have been a basket case watching all my beloved kats pass away without a clue. Since I have been a fan since season one, knowing what happens has helped me a lot, and sharing feeling with others who feel the same is therapy of a sort. With a new season and new kats, it will be somewhat different. I too am taking the deaths one at a time, they all effect me more then I want to admit! I love it that I found this board, I have no friends who share my love of meerkats, or even watch the show. So is has been wonderfull to me, to post and read posts from other kat lovers!

You are right, I have no friends (outside this forum of friends ) who share my concern/love/obsession with these critters so I don't see how I could possibly not take part in the forums.

I just wish there was some way to do all this without knowing about the season in advance. Knowing about Flower in advance was OK. She is just such a HUGE presence in MM that a lot of us are wondering what all this will be like without her.

Knowing about our other two dear girls, well, I may even love Mozart more than Flower, but I could deal with her death without knowing in advance (as long I have this wonderful, wonderful forum of people (((hugs))) .)

I think the stress is getting to me. Really. I am just ticking down the clock right now until 8:30 pm.

Mozart forever..... and forever for all the dear ones we have lost this season.

Maybe it is because I am impatient - but I had to look and I am glad I did - I don't think I would have been able to watch and seen this happen without some prewarning - even now - I am still checking the KMP site to find out more -

For some reason I was sure that Mozart's pups from this season would live, so when I saw what Kinkajou did I was really upset for days. Learning about Mozart on this board was tough, but I don't even want to think about how awful it would have been to see her lifeless body with no forewarning.

At least for now we have Sophie, who is as close to a Mozart replacement as possible. Fingers crossed that she lives a longer, luckier life than her mom.

its sooooo sad that the sweet&caring meerkat had to die!! its not fair, i thought Mozart's luck would change with the starskys.

After a short break from reading posts it, is so sad to read more kats have died.
Mozart was so dear to my heart and it really hurts to see her gone. It seemed like all she ever wanted was to be part of a family. I will forever remember her feeding pups and babysitting for her gang. Staying by her brother Shakes after the snake bite and comforting her dm Carlos until he died. This death breaks my heart and she will be missed.

I was shocked when I found out about our Flower, I realy had no idea, till I started reading the chat section. Then I was just in a daze by learning Of Kinks and especially mozart.

There are lots of wonderful people here, and I want to thank everyone! This has been hard for me, and I will miss our lady kats dearly, they all have a special place in my heart.

I did not find out about Mozart and Kink thru the uk people, one thread drops a hint, and the other thread just came out and said it, this was posted before the kink episode and mozart episode. After I read these two post I had to go to the spoiler UK site.

I wonder if another section can be created in the Meerkat Manor message board? Most of our conversations happen here in the spoiler, but can a new section be created specifically for the UK Spoilers? Perhaps a UK Spoiler, and a US Spoiler? That way we can knowingly stay off of that section if we do not want to know what is to come that far in advance, as they get the episodes before we do. I think that goes for the other Europe countries as well.

And for all who DOES want to know everything in advance, they can visit those threads. I was ok with knowing about Flower, but stumbling across the Mozart+ other deaths... I wish I would not have found out.

Does anyone else think that would be a good idea to have 2 Spoilers? Its not perfect, but maybe 1 solution?

Also, I was thinking of somesort of trial board for the junior members.

I hate to think of that, but one is only junior until they have made 5 posts. This way, they can surf whereever they want, but the first five are only to one board.

The bad part of that is the first five posts can give everything away.

WO WO WO WO WAIT!!!!!! HOW IS MY BABY MOZY GONE???? I know that tonight is the night we see our Flower leave us but since when does Mozart die??? She is with the Starsky I never knew she even died. Please someone help me I love Mozay and want to know what happened.

Unfortuneately- there is an episode to come that the UK has seen, but we have not yet. It involves what happens to Mozzy. Also, on the KMP site she is no longer listed? I think that is what I read in another thread???? I won't spoil it for you, but if you want to know more about her & others, the info is posted through the Spoiler forum if you wish to look. I stumbled across it and was not happy to find out.

I just found out about Mozart's death yesterday when I came here prior to the airing of Journey's End. I am so sad to hear about Mozart's death and it was beyond difficult to watch Flower pass away. This season has been so sad. We've have and will have to watch so many of the meerkats we have been following since the beginning of the series die. So few of the original meerkats are still around. But it will be interesting to watch what all those that are still on the manor will go on to do.
