I always woondered, It seems 90% of the rovers you see are carlo's could it be another one of meerkat manors propiganda to make the story better? couldnt it be more then one kat? im sure there is more then carlos visiting the other females so i suspect that there is 3-4 kats named carlos for viewers benifit. Now you might say why would they do this? and ill reply by saying why would they say Shakesphere was in the burrow when it was a female? Im almost certain that the stuff shakes did 90% of the other kats would do if they were in the same position at times like when he saved Mitch, then next scene he was back with the mob hunting kinda risky for a kat to go back and forth between burrow and hunting spots with the kats always on the move wouldnt you think? I am not putting down shakes he is one of my favorites, but i do have a tendency to believe that meerkat manor puts names on kats to go with the main story line and players. eg: Shakes, zaphod, Mitch daisy and any of the main names we know. there is what 46 kats in the mob can anyone tell me all the names? couldnt some of those kats that you dont hear about just be used to make another kat look better?


I posted this on a different thread but i think it has legit questions so made this post seperate and asking what you all think am I full of it or is this a possibility Think about it, think whats happened in prior episodes.

On any give day there could be 20 or more rovers out and about. Shocking eh?

Ya it would seem my eyes are opening up.

I know that in at least one episode, (Maybe more) that JD Lazuli played the "Famous Cassanova Carlos." I don't know who else has played him.

Pronker, do you know if there is or was a Meerkat actually named Carlos?

Carlos Lazuli = JD Lazuli for the most part. Perhaps even Jethro or Ziggy Lazuli. Sondheim was supposed to be Lazuli in one segment but we know he is really Stinker Gattaca, the smoothest kat in the Kalahari. I am sure some of the Vivian and Gattaca boys have come calling as well. And then there is Grog, who apparently is too big to hide but not big enough to stand his ground with Atilla.

There are a lot more rovers than can be shown or named so there is the all inclusive "Carlos".

I posted about Shakespeare in the 10 question thing - I watch Season 1 DVD and really watched when they said it was Shakespeare and checked his markings and it was him helping Mitch - there were actually 2 meerkats there and the other came up first but it was Shakespeare who carried Mitch back to the burrow - I though it was odd too that he went home and went back out and was bit by the snake and they made it seem like the same day - my thought, it wasn't the same day - I could not confirm it was Shakespeare after that fight with the Lazuli when Flower took their burrow and they came back the next morning to get it back and the Whiskers won - you see Shakie before the fight and it is obviously him and that was it - never did you see his markings again when he was referred to -

As for the Carlos thing - that is my only hope that Tosca is still out there - her Carlos stayed with her - why they aren't seen - I do not know - maybe he is camera shy now - but my hope is that they are together - with a decent size mob now -

I have posted this before too - but my thought still is that if for each little thing that happens they gave a different Meerkat's name - it may be hard to follow - or there might not be that connection - but now that we are all hooked - I want the real names!!!!!
