Ella is Rocket Dog's half sister. Ella's parents are Flower and Zaphod. I wish Ella the best of luck as a new dominant!

Ella is Miles' and Baker's sister (they are Attila and Achilles) who are duking it out for dominance of the Commandos. Ella comes from a very strong litter indeed. May she lead the Whiskers to new glory. They sure need her. And hopefully she won't go evicting every single female. It had been Flower's strength, she had allowed many daughters and grand-daughters to stay and took Mozart back again and again, as Mozzart had been the best helper (beloved, dearest Mozzy)

It's the opposite. Youssarian is Rocket Dog's father, and Zaphod is Ella's father. According to MM, Zaphod is the father of Rocket Dog (and Maybelline), but in reality he is her uncle. MM twisted reality a little bit, for a better storyline. Rocket Dog and Ella are half-sisters because they have the same mother, Flower.

Hello zettak, you always have the info! Thanks for clearing that up. I, too, was getting the gist that they had different fathers. OH THE CONFUSION! I am so glad that we have people like you that are kind enough to help keep up with the info! I know it is two different Ella's, but wasn't Tosca also called Ella? OH THE CONFUSION!

Tosca was called Ella in a documentary (somebody found a website to be downloaded from. It's in the "Talk About MM" board). Her KMP name is Badiel.

Hi zettak. Thank you! I do know about the documentary, my 'puter is relatively new, but it has problems and I know better than trying to download the documentary, alas. I am holding out hope there will be a DVD release. Thank you for clarifing this, others are asking elsewhere and I did not want to mislead anyone.

Hi zettak! I forgot to mention, I did know that Tosca's KMP name was Badiel (cool name) because she has always been one of my favorites. I did remember her being called Ella when the documentary was mentioned here, do you know if there is any hope that the documentary will be released on DVD? I so love Tosca. I don't think that the Ella/Tosca/Baddiel DVD will ever come out. It was first shown 3 years ago, and many of us have tried to find it. With the help of Stumpey3 in the "Talk about MM" we are now able to download and finally see it.

Ella will be a great DF. She is the same age as Flower when she became DF. She just needs a DM.

Thanks zettak and animal-lover621. I may mention this to a friend that has a really nice 'puter and see if they can get it downloaded. I have read on the site that has the download info that some people were able to make a DVD to watch on their TV. I can always hope! They do watch MM!

While I cried off and on for days about RD's tragic end, I have high hopes for Ella as the Whiskers new Dominant female, she has already proven to be a successful mother...She is one of the female that gave birth to the mixed litter right after Flower's death (She could very well be Amira's mother) and had a litter of 3 in February...hopefully one of those roving males will immigrate into the group as her dominant male....ahe only females in the group are Ella, WileyKat, Amira, Beaker and any female pups that have been born in the last few months...the males are Machu Pichu, Wollow, Busta, Rhogan Josh, Rufus, Axel, Nugget and any male pups born recently...

I posted a couple of days ago that although the researchers wouldn't know the mothers of a mixed litter without performing a DNA test, the mothers would know their pups. So, presumably, the females that left the Whiskers to form the Aztecs took their own pups with them. Amira was always a Whiskers member, like Ella. There is a high possibility that Amira is Ella's daughter.

Beaker, and Nugget (RD's only offspring) are juveniles, I guess. They are 4 Whiskers pups, one is Amira's, the other three (the youngest) are Ella's.

Zettak, you know, I always thought that Amira is Ella's daughter. I'm glad you reasoned it out! I thought that Amira has so much spunk (fighting RD for food and holding her own, and succeeding even in the only pup at her early age!) that she had to be Ella's kid. Ella of the awesome litter of Attila and Achilles (Miles and Baker)! And now Juno a third gen, may he thrive free of TB (who is his dad?)

Were the mothers of the mixed litter Billy, Flo, and Ella?
Billy, and Flo founded the Aztecs, along with Monkulus, and Bananas. The pups Burdock, Squig, Rufus, Murray, Chiriqui, and VWM121 went with them. Chiriqui, and VWM121 were predated soon after. Ella didn't leave the Whiskers, and the pups Amira, and Rogan Josh didn't either. If the mothers stayed together with their own pups, then the pups in the Aztecs are Billy's, and Flo's, and the pups in the Whiskers (Amira, and Rogan Josh) are Ella's.

The mothers of that litter were Flo, Ella and Petra...not Billy....(its on the March 2008 name list)...Also if you read over April's Life History report...Burdock was in the whiskers in March when the Aztecs were formed, because she immigrated in to the Aztecs in April 2007...While Rufus emigrated out...the pups that went with Monkulus, Flo, Billy and Bananas were Squig, Chiriqui, Rufus, Etosha and Murray...In April when Burdock immigrated into the Aztecs, Rufus immigrated back to the Whiskers, where he currently is at...so that complicates things a little bit when figuring out whose pup is whose...especially since Petra and Ella were both with the Whiskers when the Aztecs were formed.

The situation is complicated. I checked the name list for the mothers of the pups like you suggested. I knew that some of the pups/juveniles kept going back and forth, from one group to the other. Do you think it was because their mothers were in the other group? They were no other emigrations / immigrations, but of the pups back then. There was no roving either. This is very interesting.

Whenever I think of the Whiskers I automatically think of our Zaphod. But....Zaph is no longer a Whiskers. I've been in denial for quite a while about this now. Topping my wish list: a permenant reunion for the Whiskers and Aztecs and once become the Whiskers. Yeah, dream on, I know.

Hey, maybe they will decide to tweak things even further and create another Zaphod - then we'd have two Zaphods - one for each group. Now lets see, hmmmmmmm, what departed kat would be the best candidate for another Zaphod?

I am not worried about Ella's capability to lead the Whiskers, even though they rarely mentioned her and I don't know much about her, she is Flower's daughter meaning she has her genes, so she should be fine (Knock on wood).
