These whiskers arent the whiskers i know and love my whiskers are all now dead or about to die in future shows. Kink and del soul tonight 2 more weeks my precious Mozart, theres none left only mitch and zaphod (youssy) im not sure whats up. I will stand by Mozart and give her the utmost respect and watch her last episode as i had done with flowers, but this one is going to be harder on me than Flowers. There is one more show after this dreaded episode i will watch that one but I will never watch another meerkat manor, and if i find the need for info about whats going on ill check the kmp site.

i totally agree. i know the fate of Mozart and don't need to see her dead body on tv.

Flower and Kinkaju were a surprise to me that i didn't see coming. As for MM and AP, they've gone overboard in the dramatic effect for ratings and the amount of money they can charge for advertising.

This is no longer about the kats, but greed. I am done with Meerkat Manor.

I don't think AP has gone overboard, this is life as it is in the Kalahari. AP is just showing how hard life is for them and it will keep getting harder and harder. Everyone, put out that good energy, good thoughts and deeds for healing. I am so upset over last night's episode, I wanted to grab all three, take them home and protect them.

The hard truth is that meerkats have a short lifespan, and loving them comes with an emotional cost.
Have you read Athena's thread "back from the KMP?" Athena had said she didn't want to watch MM anymore because of the deaths, but the KMP trip changed her mind. She saw how much the researchers and camera crews love the meerkats.

meerkat manor in my case is one of the best shows and they are showing us what really happens in the kalhari, I hope in the next series life will be easyier and I heard that the kalahari got 19mm of rain on the 2nd of october.

Yes, this season has definitely been rampant with death. It seems everyday you hear about another of the meerkats dying. I am dreading this Friday's episode about Mozart. I start to cry once the show starts, and it takes awhile after the show is over to even stop. I agree that I want to take them home and protect them, but even with the awful deaths this season, hopefully that new vet will deal with the TB problem. However, even with all of the death, the meerkats know what they are doing, so even if we brought them home, they would just give us this look like, "When can we go back home?!" I love those little creatures! Long live the meerkat!

Among those things that really happen in the Kalahari is a group becoming a lost group. MM has done an awesome job of showing us how that happens, sad as it is, with the Starskies. I just dread losing my beautiful Mozart on MM Friday night.

Do you think that MM was not trying to make money in the first season? Of course they were, and more power to them. Would you suggest they not show the deaths of main characters? The season has been tough, but it is unrealistic to think that this show would not include sad events.

Axel and Mitch are with RD.

Even though this season has been very difficult for many of us, the Whiskers will always be the Whiskers. Many of the new faces and names are the legacy of Flower, Mozart and Kink.

I'm really glad Axel is with his role model, Mitch. Great kat to immitate. Hopefully we'll see good things from Axel - especially since Axel seems to be mimicking Mitch.
