WHY IS MEERKAT MANOR BREAKING UP LIKE THIS??? Java are gone, the Young Ones, and Hoax. and all the others are decreasing heavily and quickly!! What kind of thing is doing this?

the java are still together but they are not studying them anymore

it said they may study them later on after they have finished re-habituating all the other groups with already habituated meerkats in them becasue java has no habitaited meerkats.

yes but still, what is causing the decreasing numbers in the other groups?

You should check out the Advisory to Report Users that is posted on the FKMP site. They provide some explanations for these unusual events that have been ocurring since September. The main reasons appear to be group splits, increased evictions due to the numerous pregnancies, and the immigration of non-natal males that resulted in the expulsion of natal males.

I know! it's so sad! our poor Whiskers went from 33-16!

The FKMP site has also updated information for the Current Groups. According to the latest updates, Alexander was found dead after he and his sons were ousted by wild males. Sons Homestar Runner and Philippe are frequent rovers at the Aztecs and Whiskers.

Finally, and perhaps the saddest update of all, the main group is presumed to have left the area as the researchers were unable to track them in the last month.

Yea, the Young Ones are still with us. Let's just hope they STAY with us.

The "Main Group" refers to the six members of the Young Ones that remained after Homestar Runner and Philippe emigrated. According to the FKMP site, the researchers have been unable to track the six remaining Young Ones and believe that they have left the research area.
