This is kind of late update but if you look at some friends visit from the March 2009 journals on Friends of Kalaharis face book you see 2 of the friends of albums of Van Helsings including Titan so im guessing that they are fully habituated or close to it. The Same with Baobab a while back it was mentioned that pictures of the three Als were on display in the friends only Galerry. If this is true its great because the researchers can start working on other groups more often and hopefully spend more time on the Geckos most of all.
The Baobab, according to the Meerkat Groups info are available as a package to Friends. So, the group is habituated. The Van Helsing are not available yet. They seem to be close to habituation though (they might be by now).
I think there has to be some big updates on group status sometime soon.
There was a picture of the '3 als' posted in the burrow by Evi, there is apparently a huge selection of pics in the Baobab friends package like the one in the 'friends packages' (public page) which shows Al Capone (with his 'small bashed up head') either attacking or dominance asserting Al Catraz (I think by a tell tale scar on his arm) which will probably make their way into the galleries soon.
Someone mentioned a while ago that habituation sources can be focussed on other groups when more groups are signed off as 'fully habituated' and given the length of time they have been getting habituted for I guess it must be done or close to it now.
Usually wild individuals are easier to habituate if they have joined an habituated group because presumably an habituated group does not see human presence as a threat, the pups born into the group will not either so the wild meerkat/s eventually settle down such as Titan and the others.
I don't really understand why Kung FU is not available yet, they have a pretty colourfull life reading the reports, and some favorites in the family including the last of the Gattaca.
