Yes this report is very sad the Vivian and Young Ones are no longer. However it looks like their are about 20 some females pregnant I guess all that roving and evictions paid off. That means lots of new meerkats Woo Hoo!!!
Looking at this report I also did not see the Hoax, Java or anything about Tina Sparkle aka Sophie...has anyone seen anything I missed? and I fear for Mitch and Fluffernutter cause they still aren't on this report..Man what is going on in the Kalahari this year?!
Maybe I'm blind, but while I was reading the name list for December- I didn't see Maybelline's name. I also didn't see Lola and still no Yousarrian Things aren't looking too good for our little critters of the kalahari.
Marypatwhiskers, Monkulus is Maybelline and she is fine, I believe she just had pups, but we don't know how many yet. You will not see Youssarian on the list he has been gone for a very long time now.
Sorry to disappoint you Noodle....Zarathustra and Mitch are two different meerkats....Zarathustra is a litter mate to Monkulus (Born before the show started filming)....while Mitch is a littermate to Cruise (First litter when the show started filming)....

Looks like Hawkeye is the dm for the new group BB and she is pregnant. Matter of fact all of flowers girls seem to be doing pretty good. I hope Mitch has emigrated in to a wild group, maybe he will be back someday and the same for Tina Sparkle maybe they are both with groups they can't get close enough to study at this time. Anybody notice the two new names on the Whisker List VWP123 NUGGET and VWP124 BEAKER born 11/03/07 GO ROCKET DOG!!!!! Alot of FLowers girls are expecting (around 13 from the report) and the Whisker girls have formed the Aztecs and the BB. Go Flower!!! Lets hope all of these puppies make it, wouldn't that be great. A little bit of Flower in every group, she really is the Queen of the Kalahari!!
Each month I have been tracking Mozart's offspring and this newest report has me heartbroken. Sophie was pregnant at the end of the November report and part of Hoax. Now Hoax is no longer even on the list and I can't find Sophie anywhere on the report. I have visions of Mozarts struggles all over again. Also does anyone know what happened to Spud VWM078?
As for her other offspring Pink and Judrop were both evicted and in the last seen column. They also have Judrop listed as being pregnant so I'm really hoping that she will not live out her life as Mozart did. Wollow is listed as roving and as for K-a-r-i-m I can't find him anywhere. His last entry was in the October report as 2 encounters.
I was so praying that Mozart's offspring would have a better life than she had but now I'll spend the next month worrying until the January report comes out.
May all of our last seen and evicted meerkats come thru safely.
Wow, this is the saddest report to date. No Hoax, Young Ones, and Vivian. Whiskers down to 16. The Commandos list 22 but the 7 listed as absent at month-end were also absent at the end of November.
Tosca's sons Flava Flav, McMurphy and Jogu have left the Whiskers. Looks like they might be interested in joining the Commandos.
Mozart's daughters Miss Lilly the Pink and Ju Drop have been evicted and are absent at month-end. No indication of the status of Sophie.
Homestar Runner and Phillipe appear to have abandoned the Aztecs and are focused on the Whiskers. Given the continued emigration of Whisker males, this might be their best chance to join the group if this is their intention.
So much for my hope that 2008 would bring better news.
