The children....all 8 of them are so cute. I'm so sorry Mady is always so unhappy. She got on my nerves a little tonight. I know it's difficult with people always being around but does she have to be such a brat?? I hope they stick to their instruments.
I haven't watched yet - not on here for another 45 mins... Too bad Mady is so unhappy, she reminds me of my 4 year old boy... VERY strong willed. Something ingrained in them. So long as mom and dad are on top of it, she'll be ok, but yah, too bad it gets on camera that way. I guess that's life though. I can't wait to see them all noisier than ever! LOL!
Mady was a lil grumpy..lol but its nice their getting into music...my son plays the violin,so he watched with me.... it was funny to see Kate play as well and how nice for them to get that piano
Mady is very outspoken and hopefully as she matures, she learns to control it! She seems like she just has the personality that wants to be noticed at all times and that has GOT to clash horribly with their situation! Poor kid! BUT - I am sure she isn't the only child in the world to have a temperment like that and have to deal with younger siblings! She can be moody, but as we clearly saw last night at the piano, so can Cara! Just that family dynamic thing, I guess! They are all still cute though!
That was very interesting to me. I have a daughter who is a SERIOUS violinist. She began just after her 3rd Bday. She is now 11. From my very long indepth experience, there is NO WAY Mady will have true success at the violin wihtout some help at home from a parent. Expecting a 7 year old to go to lessons understand the assignment and practice is unrealistic. The violin is one of the most difficult instruments there is. Mady is very head strong, but a parents help even if it's John would be better. Kate did say it was all in fun so that set up works if it's all in fun. I suspect, however as competitive as Mady seems she may not be satisfied with just the "all in fun" approach. It'll be interesting to see what happens with that.
Mady can be bratty at times..but she just seems to be sooo super intelligent..way beyond her years..I think she just gets frustrated with all of those little babies sometimes! It's kind of normal when you think about it.
