It will be interesting to see how trucks will be designed in the future, based on the future car episode I saw last night. I have a truck to tow a trailer and my race car. I chose a truck with a high towing capacity and a lot of torque. I don't want some computer driving my truck if the total weight is around 13,000 pounds. What about 18 wheelers hauling cargo?

The trucks of the future will most likely have a computer as a back up system and for enhanced saftey such as radar and thermal imageing hooked tu the computer in order to hit the brakes in case of an emergency faster than you or i could even figure out what was happening

While towing a trailer on the highways in Texas, I have seen buzzards land in the road to dine on roadkill 200 to 300 yards ahead. I immediately start slowing down. If the computer can't see them from that distance I don't want the computer to hit the brakes when I am almost on top of the bird.
