This documentary brought fear joy and love all together in two hours. I was glued to the screen for every second of the show. It helps to somewhat "normalize" the life of a young woman with cancer and expresses that cancer does not control the person, but the person controls the cancer. I hope there is more to come.
I totally agree jenmsw! What an unbelievable story - and Kris is just such an inspiration to live life to the fullest - no matter what! Rock on Kris (and the rest of the girls) - best of luck to each of you!
I am going thru the battle myself and really appreciated someone explaing the ups and downs. What a roller coaster we live in. Thank you for expressing the journey. I have CML, I am 39 with3 kids one with autism and Gleevac did not work for me. I am in a Clinical trial, MD Anderson Orlando. Thank you for you example of LIFE.

Kris has the same attitude as i do, however she gave me alot of insite as to how i should be eating. I have had alot of ups and downs with this illness and i now have vaginal cancer but no one does anything about it. I thank you kris for bringing to my attention a healthier way to eat... and for your road as we are all passing on the same highway... I have a saying from a wonderful woman i met in pogo... I too was extremely moved by the film. My mom was diagnosed with ALL (positive for Philadelphia chromosome), and Gleevec didn't work for her at all. She had rashes that were similar to 3rd degree burns, so she is on a drug called Dasatanib (or Sprycel made by Bristol Meyers Squib). CML and ALL patients that don't tolerate Gleevec are given the Dasanatib. See what your hematologist thinks about this. I wish you all the best...
