Thats all good and well, but can we get an explanation of what exactly that means...the canned response is VERY unclear.

For example do they plan in the future on putting together any new episodes?

It takes a thief is a great show!!! I have been getting excellent information about how to protect my mother, baby boy and home from thiefs, so I hope very soon a new episode of IT TAKES A THIEF comes soon with Jon and Matt.

hello the cast of it takes a thief when are you going to start showing the series again. i havnt seen any shows they've been showing the show called cash cab. when are you going to kick them out of your spot and start showing new episodes.

Please. Why are you guuys being so mean. Why can't you just tell us what happened. Imagine you watching your fav show and it just stopped commin off!!! That would be horrible. But the hosts of this show are human so they do have a life. They deserve a break now and then. But just tell us when the new showz r cummin on!!!!

Even if Discovery Channel rebroadcasts old episodes... I'm still trying to catch up! There are a lot of episodes that I haven't seen.

Its a terrible shame that we are pulling shows that while providing entertainment, also shares information to families on protecting their property and more importantly their loved ones, and keeping shows like "Cash Cab" running.

Maybe a little more reasoning besides "currently not producing" would help calm the fans.

I really miss the show and am disappointed that Discovery has put such boring programs such as How it is Made and Cash Cab in the place of It Takes A Thief. At least re-runs would be entertainment. I used to watch Discovery a lot more than I am now.

Quite honestly, I've just about entirely stopped watching tv altogether. I used to turn on the tv, go to tivo, and catch an episode or two. And you're right... other programs like Cash Cab (I watched it once and the intrigue wore off after 10 minutes), How It's Made (sometimes interesting but rarely; at least to me), Dirty Jobs (I used to love the program but all of the jobs started to look the same or similar to other ones previously done), Deadliest Catch (the first episode or two I watched were interesting but then they all became the same program!), Myth Busters (not really that interesting to me) I don't know... maybe my (our) interests aren't the same as the rest of the general public but I think it's a big mistake not to at least broadcast reruns of the show. I can't tell you the last time I found nothing on tv and decided that I should check out Discovery Channel because it's guaranteed to have something interesting on

i don't get it why did they stop this show i LIKED this show. it doesn't make any sense to stop

what is the deal . will The Discovery Channel be making any new episodes anytime soon?

how can you say the show is not on the air,but you hope we continue to watch.now that,that show is off the air theres no reason to watch.i was home one day bored.when i came across the show.and i was hooked from there on.i was watching for about a month b4 u took it off the air.i dont care if you show reruns. now what im i going to watch everyday at 5. dont u no how many people your hurting by not showing the show.it take a theif was the highlight of my day.

I loved the show and was confused when it was not on. I serched for a week looking for it in anouther time slot. what is shown is How it's made and it is always the same over and over. I would like to start seeing the show again.

The Discovery Channel is no longer producing quality programs. The so-called television they are now feeding us is cheaply produced garbage. I for one will no longer "continue to watch."

What is going on with the Discovery Channel? Where are the new episodes of your many great shows? Everytime I tune in it is reruns of the same shows, almost all the time. Sure there are a few new ones LPBW, Deadliest catch, and now finally, Dirty Jobs. Maybe one new show per 50 to 100 reruns. What happened to: untold stories of the ER, Dr, G, Man vs. Wild, Code Blue, Survivorman, I shouldn't be alive, A haunting, Impact: stories of survival, or It takes a thief? Is every one at Discovery network on sabbatical? Have you run out of ideas for these shows all at once? Did Curtis Stone move back to Australia or England? Since December, I have probably memorized 90 % of the reruns. Who pushed the off button? Are we doomed to watch the same people lose 200+ pounds day after day or have we run out of medical miracles or Incredible medical stories? Just curious

I watch a lot of different programs on discovery channel, but I am truly disappointed that they would get rid of such a fantastic show!! They really need to bring back Matt & Jon & thats all there is to it!!

I think there doing it because they think it gives peaple ideas.But I havent even seen all the episodes yet.And they replaced them with cash cab

if I see Mike Rowe Shave An Alpaca or see how hardwood floor is made one more time I'm gonna throw my T.V out the window. I dont pay extra every month to see the same boring thing on the Discovery Channel. If your going to do reruns at least do them with an interesting show like It Takes A Theif that isn't so educational.
