So I've been watching the show for a few months now, and I enjoy watching the show. My question is, when are our two favorite burglars going to trade places and let Matt show what he can do? I mean Jon's a great (and obviously accomplished) thief, but I'd like to see if Matt can step up.
Now that would be an awesome show: "It Takes a Thief" -the grudge match! 1 week for a college apartment complex, each are given the same number of apartments, whomever gets in and away with the most wins. I hate to say it, but I don't think Matt has the chops
i`ve watched the show for maybe two seasons ,but now you`ll change burgulars,on one show ,Matt showed a family how their old lock are worth getting new ones ,now Matt needs to show off his burgular skills, once in a while!!!!..
Jon probably couldnt handle the security makeover part, but he may be perhaps good and theres also the fact that Jon stole more than Matt did and Jon is a more experience burgler than Matt. Matt probably also put on his application that he didnt want to be the one that burglerizes the house.
I've Been watching since the first episode, missed some.....but saw most. They say in the beginning, ones a PI, the other is a teacher.... if matt ever did it 4 real, he was probably young. John realy did it for a while it looks like. Who knows maybe he still uses it in his PI work. all in all, if matt ever REALLY did it, he aint got it in him anymore....i saw the one 2day where john broke into the mortgade broker's house w/ the nanny & all the kids home.....did you see the look of amazement on matt's face? he's NEVER done anything like that i'm sure. John had it down to a science. i've asked myself this question all the time "why doesn't matt do any break-ins?" the answer my friends is simply this, He can't....
I've thought about that too, and no offense to Matt, but I think Jon moves easier, he's smaller, and seems to be able to get places that Matt probably wouldn't be able to go. Like I said, no offense, Matt. LOL They don't call Jon Spiderman for nothin. LOL
The fact that Matt is now a teacher maybe one of the reasons he does not do the break ins. He is a role model for the students and would probably get in trouble with the school board.
matt and jon are only out there doing the right thing for people, and thats showing them what could happen if they were robbed, my oppinion is keep up the good work guys and don't let other people's oppinion's get to you. this goes to MATT, you are doing fine with just being the host, and your reasons why you wont do what jon is doing is ok. you have a thumbs up with me, every chance i get i tune in. this will be a show that people will talk about forever good or bad, all that matters is security you can never have enogh...
I totally agree with you. Matt seems like he knows a lot about robbing people so why doesn't he show us what he can do? They need to have a special episode where Matt does the robbing and Jon does everything else!
I think if Matt doesn't want to, he shouldn't have to, it's his choice. No one should bother him about it, you don't have the right to tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do. Also He's said that was a part of his life he'd rather not revisit and if he doesn't want to that's fine with me. As for Jon not being intellegent enough for Matt's job. How rude, Jon is more intellegent then some people think, he's been a private investigator and is currently managing the band, Sum of Them. You know what they say about people who make assumptions. If you don't like them, then don't watch, and if you do, join other fans at MattandJon.com.
