Has anybody here heard of them? They are an old Russian weight training tool that is making a comeback. And with good reason. It is a very versatile tool for building functional strength, cardio and strength endurance, increased flexiblity. It is also great for athletes as well.
You can get a great full body workout in about 30 minutes.
I've been using kettlebells for the last 3 years and I absolutely love it.
You can see what it is about on my website NoFearFitness.com. http://nofearfitness.com/
I'm not trying to self promote here. I just have a very informative site for KB training. There are sample exercises and KB info as well.
I DONT KNOW ABOUT THOSE KETTLE BELLS THEY LOOK KIND OF WEIRD TO ME. IT DOSENT SEEM ANY DIFFERENT THAN A REGULAR WEIGHT, JUST A UNCONFORTABLE LOOKING ONE. AND SWINGING AROUND A WEIGHT THAT HEAVY SEEMS DANGEROUS FOR YOU BACK. ITS JUST KIND OF SILLY LOOKING, BUT THATS ONLY MY OPINION
WOW Lisa, I just saw your web site for Kettle Bell training and I got goose bumps - I'm very impressed. Not only a different way to train - But I also like the psychological perspective you have. This type of training reminds me of the old school - where there is no fancy machines - but real good results. I love your motto: No Fear = Having Courage No Fear = Stepping outside of your comfort zone No Fear = Striving for excellence No Fear = Accepting responsibility for yourself This is a much different perspective than I'm used to - I am definitely going to try this type of exercise I am also going to tell my family and friends at the gym to try this. Good Luck
