Potty training should have been started earlier, but that's ok. Incase of an accident inside, do not hit or yell at her, pick her up and take her to newspaper if you have some, if not then you may want to get some newspaper or the wee pads they have at pet stores.
When she does go inside, after you take her to the newspaper, then clean the spot on the carpet or wood with pet oder control and something that gets rid of her scent and mark that can be found at a local pet store, so that she won't go on that spot again. Keep the spot on the newspaper till next time she goes to the bathroom, if she pooped on the newspaper then clean it up. Take her out in the morning right before she gets taken out of her cage/crate, after playtime, after meal time, and before she goes to sleep. The more you take her out, the less likley she will go inside. She must be kept in a crate or cage to teach her that she has to hold and wait till she is let out and able to go to the bathroom. This may take while, the key is to be patient and forgiving for your puppy's accidents.

Praise her when she has gone to the bathroom outside with lots of love, affection, and a few treats. Also, if your in a hurry you can say "Go potty" or "Hurry" Good luck with potty training your Mini Schnauzer!

Your welcome. It could take a few weeks to months. My puppy took about three to four months. But you're sure to notice her progress and your mom should notice too. Just as along as you follow what I said and your puppy should be potty trained soon. =)
