i have a 7 year old pitbull that i must sale due to moving in an apartment but she is aggressive towards adult male humans. altough she is very friendly towards children-toddlers, infants and even adult human females. how can i sell her to an adult male without her bitting him?
your the person giving advice? your more like ( i don't give a care let your dog get killed) guy to me. hello everyone dog shelters eventually kill your dogs if not suitable to there standards or if plain ole -nobody wants them.
he said that because you are already made up your mind to get rid of the dog. You can not take care of a biting problem yourself the new owners would have to. If you hire a behaviourist to work with you that training may not take care of the dog being in a new situation such as place and owner.
Your best bet is to find a rescue and tell them the dog does not like men.
I think a dog rescue for pit bulls would be the best bet. Honestly, it will be hard for you to find a home for your dog. She's male aggressive and she's not exactly on the younger side. But because she does have a behavioral problem, you need to be very careful in the home you find for her. Especially because people have such a bad outlook on pit bulls, give her to the wrong person and your pit bull could be in trouble. Find a breed rescue with someone who can work through your pit bull's problem.
Yes, but my point was it will be harder to find someone that is willing to take an older, aggressive dog on such short notice. It's possible, but it just won't be easy.
