Hello, I've been trying to look for websites that gives easy step by step instructions on potty training a puppie with NO luck! Every site I click on you have to buy the book or something along thoes lines. On fathers day this year we got a husky/chow mix. A Female named Willow. Shes about 8 weeks old and not fully potty trained yet. Does anyone know of a FREE website thats easy to use and has tips for quick potty training or do you have any tips yourself? I have a baby on the way Due Aug. 6th and I really hope my puppy is potty trained by then! Thanks for the help!

Potty training is a very long prosess! First off, I would by some carpet cleaner... For any oopsies that your puppy makes. Also, 5 minutes or less after your puppie eats or drinks, show him to the door and let him out. He will begin to get in a routine of going to the door after he eats.I have a therory not to start potty training right after you get him, start after a few days or so, or else he may get very stressed right after you bring him home. when ever he makes an oopsie, don't get into a habbit of scolding him, use a stern tone and say "bad dog", after a while he will understand what that means. Also after a while he will understand emotions, when you are happy, or mad. Hope it goes well! if you have anymore guestions, just ask!

well i didnt read that link but when my pit was a pup i found a site that told me some things but it didnt really help sayin it could be done in 10 days but i had it done in about 8 using my own method and some from theirs basically when your pup starts to go pick his back end up and he'll stop take him out on the grass and think of a word to use( i used outside) but it doesnt matter what word it could be funny it doesnt matter but anyways when you do catch em goin in the house use a repramend . now dont get peta on me but i just gave mine a poke like a weakend version of what cesar milan does to correct but she learnd it fast and she didnt really have any more accidents unless i didnt get her out on time

I also have a puppy 3 month old.Instead of buying expensive books I went to my local library and found a large selection of books on puppies, training, specific breeds etc...That were all quite helpful. Also you can barrow the books for about a month.
Besides that you may also try crate training the are many goods reasons to crate train. Also as a mother of 2 I recommend this because when baby comes it a good way to protect your puppy from getting into trouble.when your otherwise occuppied with baby.
