recently a group was able to transport air from one place to another, they said it would be a while before they can even teleport 1 cell, and with as many cells as we have in are body, do you think it will be possible to teleport?

Possible. As long as materia exists its possible. Tho we need to learn and research a LOT. To teleport, we need to "save" data of cell / item etc. And reconstruct it later. Another problem would be computers that would have to compute all that data. And how are we supposed to move all athoms (we could turn athos into energy and than later recompile athoms and than cells etc). Very hard thing to do.

Lifestream, how do you "save" the cells? How do you turn atoms into energy? We just dont have the technology. Scientists know the composition of very simple things like hydroden, but they have no idea how to make reconstruct something more complex like a cat. A human would be near immposible to reconstruct.
As for the research, ti might cost billions of dollers maybe more. If they really do make the telliporter, the first human in it could die, cutting the funds and public opinion of the project could skyrocket down.
Basicly, its immposibe.

In reply to matt77771's comment. To say that we do not have the technology, is the same thing as bringing an IPod back to the 50's. Or even a walkman to the 50's. We (as the public) are always ten years behind in technology and medicine. So look how fast technology has grown since the 90's. Now I am not saying teleportation is on the horrizon, but don't count out the endless possibilities, of endless possibility.
