hey, i live in lewistown, Pennsylvania... i would really like to volunteer a a good zoo... but where i live there isn't many zoos that allow volunteers. and i can't afford tickets to other states or countries! HELP!

Are you set on volunteering at a zoo because there are many other ways to help animals by volunteering. You could volunteer at a local animal shelter or rescue group instead.

If there is a petsmart in your area, they may be able to give you a good lead. They, too, have an excellent volunteer program.

I am having a similar problem in that i can get no volenteer work, but for a different reason.
i'm only 13 and you must be 16 to volenteer at my local animal shelter! It seems so stupid to me, i am fully capable of looking after the animals there as i do the animals in my own house. like wtf it shouldn't be about ur age but the dedication u have to offer! anyone agree?

and for the top problem, i suggest you drive around and see if there are any vet clinics, or shelters, or whatever, i guess that doesnt really answere your problem, maybe as like a prerequesit, so you could maybe tell them that or, well i dont know, sorry
