I'm really not enjoying this season. The producers have sped up the edits and added so much heavy and distracting music. In previous seasons, I really enjoyed the sky shots. Now there is an edit every 2 seconds. There are no "wow...look at that" moments anymore. Please give the viewer a chance to soak in the atmosphere of being in the storm instead of the full MTV treatment. It has ruined this show for me.

Discovery Channel as a whole has taken a turn for the EXTREEEEMMMEEE this season. They are now actually showing things they used to blur out before. So now we get to SEE Grant puke on Mythbusters, and SEE all the poo and pee actually coming out on Dirty Jobs.

I don't think it's just Storm Chasers. I can't wait until Whale Wars starts up again...

If anyone is watching from Discovery...Whale Wars is a crap show if there ever was one.

I would like to see more of the weather and less shots of the people chasing, yea they are funny, but we dont ever seem to get more than a few seconds of the storm forming, they keep pointing out the rotation but yet what you show us is only a fraction of a sec. we dont have time to focus on the clouds, before you leave the shot. So please let us see it too. Thanks

Bingo. I was a big fan of Seasons 1 & 2, but this season has been so dumbed down by the producers/editors that it is nearly unwatchable. I'll give it one more chance (Episode 3), but if it's more of the same, I'll be deleting it from my TiVo "to record" list.

Somebody on another thread posted that this season feels like a typical MBA Network Consultant is running the show. I couldn't agree more.

You gotta know the videographers shot killer footage of storms, sky, environment -- the look & feel of chasing. But after the producers are done with it, the good stuff is dumped in favor of more closeup shots of guys in angst, and ever more shots of Reed screaming.

It's clear that they're aiming this season at the 13-year-old boy market.

Why all the fake "drama" and horrid acting. The show was great for the first two seasons. One more clone "Reality" series. I did not need much of an excuse to go to bed early on Sunday night. Fire the idiot that dreamed up this change.
