In my home town we have had 3 tornados over A 35 year period the worst A F3 ,I'll get back to it later. In the 80's there was A small F1 that did very little damage. They have gotten more freqent over the years on 12/25/06 there was a large F2 that became A water spout and travled over the lake to A large home and destroyed it. That was the worst christmas ever!!!!!!!!!!!! All right the F3 just passed through in april I was in school when this tornado tore up our town but we were in class and I just glanced At the window and I was like OMG we need to get in the halls like now because I knew what was coming because the sky was pitch black and it slowly turned green and I knew the storm was spawning some big tornado!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just after the sky turned green I could heer the power lines buzzing and then one monster spark. The power went out and about 20 seconds later the tree out side the door was bending back allmost snaping and then we saw the debri flying and then every one started running arouned like a chicken with its head cut off. Finnaly we got everyone setteled down and then they had us go in the hall and get in the tornado safty position thingy. That tornado came a mile from my school and vered away and headed to down town were it killed several people and caused a town black out!!!!!!!!!! It went through the industreal part of down town it hit and destroyed a large tabbaco barn I mean a 600FT by 1000ft barn. Most historic buildings were safe but some were destroyed. There was A large neiborhood it hit and it killed the most people there. They are amazing to watch but I hope we don't have any more any time soon.
