I love Discovery Channel but I think there are times bad decisions are made as to what shows make it and ones that don’t. Storm Chasers is just one of those shows that needs to go away! Show reruns of Dirty Jobs or something worth watching. I have watched this show a couple times to see what it was about and saw nothing but a bunch of idiots arguing which way to go, yelling “go, go, go, go!!!” For the 2 shows that I have watched, I feel less intelligent and kind of aggravated that I wasted the time on such nonsense. Discovery Channel please drop this crap.
I often find these new TV reality-ists sometimes offensive for the most part; they are informative and quite entertaining. I happen to enjoy watching Storm Chaser, but I do not like dirty jobs, surviveorman or Dork 'Man' Vrs Wild. And the fact that Myth-nomers or rather Myth-busters could not make a Christmas tree catch fire when dozens of then do each year, tells me they are even to dumb to set them selves on fire
In addition, yes I have peed in a bottle whilst driving! 'Don't Peek' or my reply would be rated 'R' and removed from the discussion
But..... none of these are a reason you shouldn't be aloud to watch them
if You don't like storm chasers then please don't watch it.

I have to totally agree with bryce01 on this one. The Discovery Channel normally has such great programming. What the hell happened here? I waited and waited for this show to get better. I eventually had to give up because I couldn't listen to that cry baby Sean anymore. OMG! I can only imagine what the narrator of this show was thinking as he tried to make this fiasco sound interesting and exciting. Discovery, drop this piece of crap, or at least get a chaser team that looks like they know what they are doing. The star of this show should be the storms and tornados. Why would anyone care if the "team" had to share a hotel room to save money because their tiv broke. Big deal. And watching them pump gas? C'mon Discovery, you can do better.
WTF? If the show is that bad, what would make you guys come on here, and register for this forum, just to bad mouth it??? Why bother? Not like anyone is concerned what you guys think, which can't be much. If you don't like the show, don't watch it. I can't imagine the no life having retards that do this stuff.....

It's a great show! All I can say to the nay sayers is, You've obviously never been in/near a tornado! I have been in one and probably a bit too close to another, but once you see one, you'll understand the feeling of total amazement. It's litteraly hypnotic, for lack of a better word. I'm glad to see a new season in the making.
It's not true that you don't learn nothing! Before i started watching this show, i knew nothing of tornadoes. But after the first show, i knew so much! how they form, what's in them, etc. And just because you have a different opinion than others, doesnt mean they should change their mind just for YOU. Please keep this show! If you don't i will be heart broken!
I think the show stinks too. This show is about a group of ego centered individuals who cannot even work together in a professional manner. There is nothing I find educational about the show. I lived in Oklahoma for about 30 years. With the excellent news coverage and radar systems that they have developed, I've learned a lot about weather, how to avoid tornadoes, and stay safe.
If you want to learn about tornadoes and safety precautions, get some of the videos that the local news media in Oklahoma provides. Don't waste your time watching this show.
I am not going to spend my time explaining why I like the show because I have my own reasons for why I like it. People are entitled to their own opinions and that is what's great about this country.
However, to those who say that this show is completely noneducational and that this team of storm chasers is nothing more than a bunch of "ego-maniacs", let me explain to you why you are wrong. You see, the number one reason that these chasers are out there is to gather new scientific data on tornadoes and this data will be used to help scientists learn numerous new things about tornadoes. This will in turn allow for more efficient warning systems to be developed which will, as you know, save many lives. That is their mission. The TIV crew is there primarily to get the video shot inside the funnel of a tornado, but there are instruments mounted on the vehicle in order to gather potentially valuable scientific data as well. These folks are living out the dreams of other storm chasers and soon-to-be storm chasers such as myself. Those are the people that will enjoy the show the most. Anyone not interested in weather or otherwise should at least respect what they do and simply switch the channel if they do not like what they see. -Alex
Yep. That's what I do. I switch the channel. If they would at least work together in a somewhat professional manner, the show could be interesting. But once they start bickering and behaving like children, it's time to watch something else.
It's like Alex says, we all have our opinions. Some like watching it and some don't. BTW, Alex, I liked your reply. It provided some good insight on what the show is about.
i just want to say that i LOVE this show accually i about broke my neck when i was passing sonic and to my surprise i saw the TIV sitting at my sonic in MY SMALL A$$ TOWN!!! so i wipped a U-turn and pulled in. The guys are way kewl in person i cant beleave i accually saw them!!!
Hey, Just wanted to say i disagree and i absolutley love the show! Im from London, and I find the show really great to watch, and i understand you dont, thats fine, but i mean i strongly doubt that every channel you watch have all your favourite shows... Your entitled to your opinion but trying to drop the show is just extreme, just find something else to watch when its on, simple..
